Okay, I blew it! A few months ago when planning my trip, we decided to leave the night before as airfare was cheaper on the companion fare. At that time, I started looking for a hotel near the airport for 1 night. I found Sheraton Suites for $49.99 which included breakfast. I never booked as I felt I had plenty of time to check out other places. Now the cheapest rate I see there is $99.99 and no breakfast.
I can get the Hawthorne Suites near the airport for $76.90 which includes breakfast and the extra bed. I always go for three beds with my two boys 12 and 15.
Now, I just checked out Amerisuites for $49.99 which includes breakfast. This is Northwest near the airport. The room looks great, but I can't find any details on the beds. Does anyone know about these rooms. I'm looking for 2 full or queens and a daybed.
The Sheraton and the Hawthorne both have the extra bed.
Thanks for your help.

Linda, have you checked out Amerisuite's web site yet? http://www.amerisuites.com/hotels/ajoo.shtml That is a link for the Airport Northwest location...

According to their reservations system, they have rooms with 2 double beds and a sleep sofa as well as rooms with a King sized bed and one sleep sofa..

I have never stayed at Amerisuites personally, but I have heard good things about them here on the DIS boards. I am considering using them for a one night stay before we check into OKW on our upcoming trip...

I must be blind as I don't see it anywhere. Where does it describe the beds? If it has two plus the sofa, I'm ready to book.
Thanks

If you click on the button to make a reservation and enter your dates you will see all the room descriptions as well as the various rates. You can do this without actually booking. Go ahead, give it a try....

:D :D Thanks so much! I just booked it through Valuetrips for $49.99. Looks like a great deal-only 1/4 mile from the airport.

We stayed at this hotel on June 7th of this year. I received this hotel from Priceline for a $30 bid.

The hotel is nice and clean. Our room had a sitting area with a loveseat that had a hide a bed, a sink, small frige, desk and 2 double beds. The sink area was seperate from the shower area. You will have pleanty of room for your older kids. The staff was friendly, and they sent a shuttle to pick us up from MCO. The next morning there was a nice breakfast buffet with cereal, muffins, fruit, etc.

After breakfast we checked out, which was a breeze and was off to Disney.

We were never treated different from any other full paying guest, as I have heard this could be the case with a Priceline bid.

I'm sure you will be happy with everything.
:D
