I know they have a new character meet and greet at WDW for Tink and her pals. Does this exist at DLR?

Yes, Pixie Hollow is at DLR as well. It's just past the hub, as you are going toward the Matterhorn, on your right.

Pixie Hollow, located in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park in the space formerly occupied by Ariel's Grotto, is an outdoor Character Meet-and-Greet location.

Guests can walk through this magical garden, shrinking down to pixie-size as they go. At the end, you can meet Tinker Bell and her friends from our new Animated Feature, Tinker Bell.

And this summer, as part of our Summer Nightastic! special event, Pixie Hollow will be receiving even more magic as the fairies light it up as never before and put on a light and water show that will delight and excite our Guests.

Is it as packed out and frenetic as WDW's Pixie Hollow?

I know lots of ppl organize their day to be at RD for TT to get through the slow-moving line to meet the fairies.

I wondered if it was also necessary to be early for Pixie Hollow as well as Finding Nemo Subs, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Autopia, Soarin' (at DCA) and Toy Story (DCA)

not sure if the wait times are still crazy...when we tried to do this in december, the wait was at least 60 minutes...and it was about 11am on that friday. needless to say, DH wasn't going to wait that long, so it's still something on our "to-do" list.

A slow loader and the line never eases up so it seems. Usually 30 minutes to over an hour. When the line is out to the entrance then people walk away so it stays around an hour. People just do not want to go over an hour in line with kids for a meet and greet. The pond is boarded up and being refurbished for the summer stuff. It opens at 9 am usually except when the park opens at 10 am.

Princess Fantasy Fair is another slow loader that has long lines.

A good plan for Pixie Hollow (and this goes for Princess Fantasy Fair as well) is to fall in line when the park opens (especially for the Princesses), they usually open at 9, then head on over to Toontown to do the character meet n greets there.

Just returned today from DLR. I would also recommend PH first thing in the morning. It opened with the park. I went late in the afternoon (4 pm ish) and waited about 30 minutes, but the park was not crowded at all. (Matterhorn 5 minute wait, Space Mountain 15 minutes)

I met Tink last and another fairy before her. The blue one. Excuse my ignorance, but I just don't know the new faeries. She was the blue one. Both "friends" were fantastic to talk with.

We did PFF on Tuesday and Pixie Hollow on Wednesday. PFF was about an hour 15 mins at 3pm and Pixie Hollow was about 35 mins. at 1115 am. The lines moved fairly fast for Pixie Hollow but be warned there is NO shade in the que and no where to even lean for a rest!

We saw Fawn and Tink!
