You can only purchase OTU points by calling MS and actually making a reservation that will use them. If you cancel that reservation, the OTU points will show in your online account and you can book online using them. This is a recent change to the booking system.

Sorry you have to call when hold tines are so outrageously long. Good luck.

They typically wish to limit access to OTU points. It isn't about ese of implementing, it is really that they want it to have a hoop to jump through.

The only this is they make them money. So it would seem it would be the one thing they would want to make easier!!!!

I don't know that it does, or, rather, that selling them as cash points to members is more profitable than using the points themselves.

These are likely from the Disney-owned pools of points. And they get cash bookings to nonmembers out of them.
