Can we upgrade??

We booked ASMo for June. My dad just retired and so this is his retirement vacation. Well, I am beginning to feel guilty for booking him into an VALUE resort!!

Has anyone every booked a value and then upgraded themselves when checking in? I am not talking about a FREE upgrade. Although that would be nice. It has NEVER happened to me!

I wouldn't wait until you get there - I would call now and check into an upgrade to one of the mods.

I agree with you about thinking you should upgrade. the mod's
are much nicer and your dad deserve it!!!
but call now as they may get booked up!!

I wouldn't see why you couldn't upgrade, as long as there are rooms available of course. I'd call as soon as possible though, if you wait until you get there you may not get what you're looking for.

What about downgrading? What if I reserve a delux hotel for December hoping for a discount with AP. If there are no discounts then downgrade to a moderate. Will I get charged a fee or anything?

If you have a room only rez, you should be able to change it (up, down or sideways ) as long as there is availability. I'm not sure about a package as those play by a different set of rules.
