Can we take bus from AK to DTD?

We have adr's at Rainforest Café in DTD at 6pm on our AK day. We are staying at POR. Can we get a bus to DTD from AK or should we go back to POR and take the boat? Thanks

No buses run from theme parks to DTD, so to avoid people using it as a free parking spot. So you would need to go to your hotel and transport from there

Instead of going all the way back to your resort, I would recommend taking the bus to AKL which is the closest hotel to AK and then grab the bus to DTD from there. By doing this you will save time.

If you are on any sort of schedule, take a cab to and from DTD. No matter which resort you're staying at, the buses to and from DTD are notoriously terrible (can easily take an hour or more ).

I agree that taking the bus to AKL and transferring there to the DTD bus should be faster than bus to PO & boat to DTD. Still, any time you are using two buses, or a bus and another form of transport, you should allow 90 minutes.

There's also a Rainforest Cafe right at DAK. Do you have a preference for the one at DTD?

Up until a week or so ago the best option would have been to take a bus from AK to Saratoga Springs Congress stop and walk to DTD,but since construction for Disney Springs started that pathway is closed so either taking a bus to POR or AKL and then grabbing another bus or the boat from POR would be the best choices.

I pretty much hop any non MK area resort bus, then take a DTD bus from there.. Sure AKL is closer, but if that bus just left, and a CSR or CBR or something like that is just arriving, why not jump on one of those then DTD from there.. Plus you get to see different resorts which is fun too.
