Hello. Will be staying onsite in Epcot area. Will have my own car. Can we drive over to the stables to see the horses, or is that closed because of Covid? Thanks.

cant say for sure about visiting but plan on having to park in front of campground and taking internal bus. no car parking in the other end of campground

According to the current rules, you would probably need a dining reservation to park at Ft. Wilderness at all. And their restaurants that used to take reservations are now temporarily shut down. Maybe instead you could take the boat over from the Magic Kingdom (if that is running) and then catch the internal bus at Ft. Wilderness. Even with all that, I do not know whether the stables are presently open to visitors. Try asking at https://www.disboards.com/forums/camping-at-disney-world.24/.

We were just there first week of August and yes the stables are open for visitors. Not staying at the fort you could park at MK and take the boat over from the main entrance. It is running. If you wish to drive to the fort just stop at security and tell them you are going to the stables and P&J’s takeout. You will have to park in overflow parking and ride an internal bus to Pioneer Hall. Any color bus will drop off at that location. From the drop off at Pioneer Hall the stables are visible and a short walk away as well as P&J’s and The Settlement Trading post for quick shopping.
