Can we drop off ECV in front of the parks?

Or do we have to try to lug it onto a tram? I'm talking about at AK, DHS and EpCot.

If we show up before RD, park in a regular stall in one of the parking lots, do we have to put the ECV on a tram?

Or can we ask to drive up to the front, unload the ECV and then drive back to a parking stall?

Thanks for your advice!

For those three parks there is a "medical parking" area near the front of the park. Even if a guest does not have a disabled placard/plate they can park in the regular white spaces there and avoid the trams. Unlike Disneyland the trams do not have disabled loading of ECVs and wheelchairs at WDW. That is why you park in medical parking lot.

At MK you go to the TTC and go for the drop off lane. Drop off the ECV then have one person drive over to the regular parking area and take the tram. Otherwise you park in medical and it is a long long long long long walk under a bridge. Not fun in the sun, at the end of the day or in the rain.

You cannot take an ECV on a tram.

When you stop to pay, tell the CM what you need/wish to do: drop off the ECV user and the ECV as close to the park entrance as possible, then park. They should direct you. Even if you don't have to pay, still get directions when you get your documents.

Or, the ECV user could ride up from wherever you park and meet you where the tram drops you.

And if you arrive early enough and it's not busy, likely you'll be in a parking area that either isn't served by the trams or which is close enough to walk.
