I just went online to pull up the show schedule for 5/27 & I noticed this new Sesame Street show starring Elmo & the Gang. Has anyone seen it, it looks kinda cute.

I've seen it, it is a cute show, the little ones or fans of Sesame Street in general will more than likely enjoy it.

The crew from "Sesame Beach" are playing around on a ship when some pirate Bookaneers show up to take their books. The SS gang plead for them not to take their books. Cookie Monster, and Bert& Ernie were my favs( just like as a kid) and had me laughing a few times during the show. There's some Yamaha watercraft used during the show and also kites are used in the show.

The characters are all life sized versions, and the mouths on them move as they speak and sing, the costumes look very good, like blown up versions of the actual muppets themselves.

Delphis,

Thanks for the detailed reply!! My kids are 3 & 7 so I was pleasantly surprised when I went online & saw this addition!!!

It sounds adorable & I am looking forward to it.

Also thanks for the link to the site, I Love it!!!

One more question since you seem to be the expert based upon your fantastic site, do the characters sign autographs after the show??

No big deal if they don't, just curious.

Thanks

Thank you for the comment on the site. I'm hardly an expert, I'm just someone who has alot of free time and really enjoys Sea World more than the other parks here in Orlando. LoL

Sorry, I honestly don't know if the characters do autographs or not after the show, I've just seen the show that one time and left right after it was over.

I have read though that Sea World is getting regular Sesame Street walk around characters for the park here in Orlando. I don't know when they're gonna start being out and about though.

Here's the article that talks about this Summer's new offerings at Sea World.

Thanks for all the great information!! My kids are getting really excited about Sea World.

We have been to Disney about 7 times in the past 4 years & have never taken them to Sea World. I haven't been since I was a kid & we ALL can't wait. :cool1:

I have been doing so much research for our upcoming May trip, & your site just got them soooo excited over the Sesame St show, we just can't wait to get there!!!!

Thanks for all the useful links!!

No prob LuvAriel, glad your little ones liked the site and are excited about Sea World.

I can't even tell you how excited I am about them offering this!

My DD is 2 and LOVES the Sesame Street characters - we are lucky enough to only live about 2 hours from Sesame Place, so we visited last summer and plan to go again this year- but I really didn't love the place. We saw a Sesame Live show a few weeks ago and she loved it and asked if we were going to see Elmo at Mickey's house and I had to tell her "no". Now I get to tell her YES!

Hopefully there will be some sort of meet and greet available, but even if not, this will be great. Dolphins, Sea Lions AND Elmo ... maybe we shouldn't even buy WDW passes :-) :-)

If you have little Sesame Street fans then it's probably worthwhile. Otherwise, it's a real snoozer. I still don't understand their "F song" bit. I think it's just an excuse to use the old fish shaped kites left over from their Fusion show :) . I overheard one mother say that it was a good show but her daughter was so scared that she wouldn't move during the entire show. I did notice more than a couple of families leave during the show. :confused3

We just returned from SW last week and Elmo was the highlight of my 2 year old's trip. We saw it twice and he wanted to "stay with Elmo" when it was over. We did see several families leave, but he really loved it. My two older children saw it the first time, and they liked it too. They are 7 and 5.

That's nice. That's what I was trying to say. As long as you have the little ones with you and you know what to expect, it's OK. It did seem to me that there were a number of people that decided it wasn't for them. I heard that it will only run until the end of May though.

Once again Sea World's own site says otherwise.

What do you mean "Once again"? Geez I'm only relaying what I heard at the park. OK so it's Labor day instead of Memorial Day. Lighten up.
BTW, do you work there?

What does working there have anything to do with it? I just don't think it's right to spread rumors in threads where people are gathering info about upcoming trips. If you had started a rumor thread it would be totally different.

I realize the website has some older outdated stuff once in a while, but the stuff I linked to today has been recently added. That's all I was getting at. I shouldn't have gotten personal with you, for that I apologize.

If I took your post the wrong way, I too apologize. If you worked there I would just have deferred to your info. That's all I meant. I had no intention of starting "rumors" as you put it (whatever that implies). I probably misunderstood Memorial Day for Labor Day, thanks for the correction. End of story.

woo, I'm glad the sesame street show ends labor day. I'm going in December and I was thinking that sesame characters walking around would defer from the animals.

I'm so excited to see that Sesame Street will be at Sea World!! We're going in August w/my cousins and their families, and my DD Camryn (who is 2 1/2) and I were just on their website looking at Elmo and friends. She was so excited to hear that Elmo and his friends will be at Sea World when we go!!

Delphis, how do I find your site? I'd like to check it out since it sounds like it's very nice! :)

I was working on the new show at SeaWorld a few months ago. (worked on the key visual, and signage) We are currently working on a few different design projects for the Busch Gardens and SeaWorld introduction of Sesame Street. So be on the look out for more Sesame at SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Theme Parks.

There will be new permanent Sesame themed rides in a new Sesame themed section of the park. (2008) This will be good for the people who can't make the trip to Langhorn, PA and visit Sesame Place. However if you do make it to the East Coast check it out, your kids will love it.
