We arrive at MCO on 12/11.
We plan on checking in at the Poly, throw our luggage in the room & then drive over (we will have our own car) to MGM. We are hoping to be at MGM no later then 4:30 that evening.

The only MUST dos at MGM is Tower of Terror, The Great Movie Ride, Muppets (maybe, depends in my son wants to do it or not) & then Star Tours.
MGM closes at 7:00 that evening, since it is a Thursday evening do you think crowds will be low & we should be able to get all 4 rides/attractions done by 7:00? Especially if we get to MGM by 4:30?
If we have time DH & I might do the 'baby' swap on the Rock & roll coaster...but first we have to get the others done!

The only one I am thinking that might be a long line is ToT, but since it is early December & on a weeknight I am hoping for little lines.

You should be able to do those, TOT might be the only problem. I would just put them in the order of importance to you and do what you can. That way if you miss anything you will at least gone on other things that you like a little more.

If you use fast pass then you should be able to do all that you posted and then some. :D

You should not have a problem hitting those 4 attractions within that time frame. If you were going to try and do Fantasmic too, then I would say probably not. The crowds are fairly light during the week during this time of year. I would head for ToT & RnRC and grab a Fast Pass. Check the times and if it is more than an hour, then head over and do GMR & Star Tours. Head back & do RnRC & ToT. Once done, check with your son and see if he wants to do Muppets.

Hope you have a great trip!

No, we are not planning on doing Fantasmic this time around. Although I love the show, just don't think we will have enough time plus do all the attractions we really want to do.

So you think we should head to ToT first, if there is a long line, grab a fast pass & then head off to the Great Movie Ride???

Keep in mind that because it will be so late in the day, it may be possible that ToT fastpasses may be gone for the day. But like others said, it should not be too crowded being mid-week, so the stand-by wait may not be too bad.

The biggest issue might be Muppets. Walking all the way back there and not catching the time just right could burn up 45 minutes easy.

Star Tours most likely will be a walk on. The other two might be tough unless there are still FP's available.

This time of year, and on a weekday, you may not even need Fast Passes. My experience has been you can walk up to TofT and RnRC and ride almost continuously! Knock on wood -- hopefully, that will be true for you. But, if there is a long line, definitely try to get a FP and head over to the other side for Movie Ride and Star Tours and Muppets. And then, ride TofT and RnRC ... and who knows ..... maybe you will have time for Fantasmic. You'll be on the right side of the Park.
