Can someone help me with the Math?

Ok, so I needed to add dining (no not free..but anticipating it).

We had booked 9-29 checking out 10-7. No Dining our total was 3191.28 (4 adults..cause our 2 kids are over 10)

I added 1 night, the 28th. And Plus Dining (1 QS, 1 TS, 1 Snack) to our reservation and the new total is 5241.36. Does that seem right?

I would say not knowing what resort or if you also added a days tickets most likely that is correct since adding the DDP for 4 A for 9 nights comes to an additional $1655.64

OOps..it was Coronado and kept the tickets the same (9 day with park hopper water fun and more)

We aren't doing the park hopper/water park option so that is probably $400 at least.

No insurance and just a standard room.

Then something isn't adding up.

You mentioned a grand total of $3,191.28 and that total includes a discount of 30%.

Here's what I'm seeing when I price this out, and this is FULL price - no discounts at all:

With a 30% discount, the total should be in the neighborhood of $2635/$2640.

Similarly, if you add the night of the 7th and the basic dining plan, the total is $4,972.40 - and that's WITHOUT a discount.

Are you in another country? Are the totals listed in a non-US currency?

That doesn't seem right. I just punched it in on the WDW site (9/28-10/7, 9 day tickets w/dining). It came to $4937.52 at rack rate. Even with the insurance it was $$5071.42. Did you get a confirmation email? Did it look right?

This is what I got:

$1338.75 room ($1700 - 30% + 12.5% tax)
$1554.92 tix (9D PH+WP&M for 4A with tax)
$1656.00 dining ($46 * 4 * 9, unless its peak)
---------------
$4549.67 total

I would call back and make sure that they have your discount on there, that they did not add insurance and that the CM added your extra day on correctly (maybe your paying for an extra pair of 1-day tix or something, since the day was added on to the front, in order to get the DDP.) I'm not sure what recourse you will have if they took your discount off, since that deal is now expired.
