Can someone call YOU a nerd?

I guess I will officially have to leave this thread...

83% scored higher (more nerdy), and
17% scored lower (less nerdy).

What does this mean? Your nerdiness is:

Not nerdy, but then again maybe not all that cool either.

Being a EE I should be a nerd, but I am not. Most people who meet me do not believe I am an EE. They always tell me you are not like them. Makes me laugh. I will not repair your computer, that is what the Geek Squad is for. I will not wire your home, that is what electricians are for. I will not design you a home theater system, the is what Tweeter is for. I do not now or ever had tape on my glasses!!!! I refused to get a home computer until I absolutely needed one. I hate Excel and other Microsoft products. I hate working in the lab at work, thankfully my job is design and development not implementation.

Now being a Disney person will qualify me for a nerd and the is A O.K. with me.

I took the nerd test and got:

73% scored higher (more nerdy), and
27% scored lower (less nerdy).

What does this mean? Your nerdiness is:

Not nerdy, but definitely not hip.

Yep, I'm a nerd. Love classical music, Discovery Channel, History Channel, TLC, Discovery Science (and on and on), I read constantly, and I love learning!

Per the quiz, I am somewhat nerdy...I, apparently, am nerdier than 1/2 of the test takers!!! :thumbsup2

but my pants are where they are supposed to be...most of the time!!! :teeth:

Hay we just proved that the resident engineers are not very high on the nerd scale. And to think we are the standard that most people use. :lmao:

So we can't call ourselves Enginerds anymore? What does that make us, then? Geeks? Dorks? Spazatrons?

I guess this says it all :rotfl:

Overall, you scored as follows:

91% scored higher (more nerdy), and
9% scored lower (less nerdy).

What does this mean? Your nerdiness is:

Definitely not nerdy, you are probably cool.

I've never been 'probably cool' or even kinda cool. :lmao:

No, I don't wear my glasses enough, but I have a pouch of pens in my purse, kind of my version of a pocket protector.

Never here, but DW may have. I did have Coke-bottle lenses until contact lenses, and later Lasik.

what classifies you as a nerd???

I just gave my 14 year old son all my high school notebooks to use as reference for his classes now that he is in high school. What can I say. I paid attention in class, took good notes and knew one day the children I would have in the future could use them. I was right. It was worth moving those boxes of notebooks from SC, to VA and eventually Italy. :teeth:

I saw this t-shirt in a catalogue and it cracked me up...

"Nietzsche is pietzsche, but Sartre is smartre."

I'm not kidding, I was laughing out loud :lmao:

I really want a "Pink Freud" t-shirt, too. And the door mat with the music notes on it that says "Bach soon. Offenbach sooner." And the t-shirt with a daVinci angel on it that says, in mirror writing, "Michelangelo paints by numbers."

Am I really that nerdy?
