Can MS Book Rooms In Non-DVC WDW Resorts?

I'm going to start calling next Tuesday for our ressies for next Christmas. On the first day, I'm hoping to get a studio at VWL for just one night and also I want a regular WL room paying cash (the cheapest room they have) for our DS33 to stay in. After day 1, we'll be getting a 2BR for all of us to stay in. My question is can MS make the ressie for me in WL itself or will I need to make a separate call to CRO? Can you get AAA discounts making the ressie thru MS? Thanks.

A cash reservation at a non-DVC resort has to go through CRO. MS only offers cash booking at DVC resorts.

Chuck is correct - MS can book cash nights only at DVC resorts. They offer a 25% member discount, if available. They cannot do any other type of discount (AP, AAA, etc), you would have to call CRO. They can book nights at non-DVC WDW resorts only for points, plus a $95 fee.

WDW resorts attached to DVC resorts are not eligible for points stays (WL, BW, BC, AKL). So member services cannot book any type of stay at WL. Can you book your son a studio at VWL?

No, we don't have the points at 11 months. Hopefully we can all switch to a 2BR at 7 months (when I'll cancel his hotel stay), but I don't want to take a chance not having a ressie.

Your best bet would be to see if DVC has a member discount room at VWL (unlikely this early) or call CRO for VWL or WL.
