Can I verbally request a section when making the ressie?

I'm staying at Pop Century in October. I haven't made my ressies yet, but I'm planning on calling soon. Last year, I stayed in the Preferred building (60's). This year I don't want to pay extra for preferred. Can I make a request for the 50's building when calling to make a ressie? Or do requests have to be in writing closer to my trip?

YES!!!!

You actually should make your request(s) with CRO or WDTC when making your reservation. They will note it on your reservation. There have been reports of resorts no longer accepting (or paying attention) to faxed room requests, so this is the way to go.

Yes, you can request the location you want to stay in, but you won't be guarnteed the location, as those aren't actually settled until a few days before you arrive. Have your CM make a note of the local on your Res, and the resort will try to accomodate you.
