Hi everyone
I have a question that I can't find the answer to. I want to book a character meal but do not own a credit card. My exhubby has agreed to let us use his to book the meal but will wdw let me do that.

I will pay when I get there for the meal but just want to book it soon end of month for chef mickeys. Any help would be good

I used my dads card with no problem. He just gave me the card and when I called they took the #. I don't think they asked me name on card. I would have told them anyway but I never had a problem.

Oops I should have told you that I only needed it for Hoop Dee Doo and the Fantasmic pkg.

I don't even remember having to give a CC number when we booked Chef Mickeys in May.

Hi There

I just made a ADR for Chef Mickeys and you do not need a credit card. I was required to use a credit card for CRT and PSB only. Hope this helps :sunny:

If you're asked for a credit card it's a firm reservation and, if you don't show up, your card will be charged a cancellation fee.

If you're not asked for a credit card, it's a priority seating AKA ADR.... that means they will seat you before any walk-ins. Lots of people don't show for their priority seatings/ADRs because their plans have changed, and then the restaurant just takes walk-ins to fill their tables. No credit card number requested, no penalty for changing your plans and not showing up.

If a credit card is required they may ask for the expiry date and security numbers (usually on the signature panel on the back)

Hi there,
We did Cinderella's Galla Feast dinner at the Grand Floridian this past Feb as well as Chef Mickey's Bkfst at the Contemporary and didn't have to leave a CC #. The year before we did for the Princess Bkfst at Norway in Epcot, and we had to leave a CC # . Go for it, the worst that can happen is they need one and you have to call back for the #, but you stand a chance that you don't need one. Good luck, here's some extra pixie dust for you!

Your ex-hubby is going way out on a limb letting you use his credit card even for just a reservation. He would be responsible to the credit card company for anything and everything you tried to do with that card including concierge rooms at the Grand Floridian.

Heck...I'd recommend it! heeheehee!

We have a pretty good relationship that is trusting since we have kids together. He has actually said if they charge the meal we can pay later but I want too use it only for reservation and don't plan on taking it with us.
We have decided too be nice to each other since it is not the kids fault that we didn't stay together. This vacation is for the kids( also for me to meet MICKEY) haha. My new hubby can meet MINNIE but no touchy touchy. haha :rotfl2:
