Can I use Disney gift cards at the snack carts at WDW?

Do you know if we'd be able to use Disney gift cards on all the snack carts at WDW or would we be limited to actual restaurants?

You shouldn't have a problem using gift cards at the snack carts, we just returned from our trip on February 17 and we used Disney gift cards I received for Christmas for things from Dole Whips to Icecream Cookie Sandwiches and bottles of water.

There are some snack carts (not many) at WDW that do not take cards of any type and are cash only. The ones I can think of right now are the outside kiosks at the Boardwalk (like Boardwalk To Go).

Now that you mention it, the Funnel Cake Stand on the Boardwalk we needed cash for. We grabbed a funnel cake right before heading back to our room and there was a sign in the window that they only took cash.

We needed cash for the Funnel Cake stand right outside the American Pavilion in EPCOT as well. Every other place we paid with the gift cards.

Can gift cards be used anywhere at the boardwalk or dtd as well? What about at mini golf or renting bikes at the resorts? Thanks!

Restuarants on the disney dining plan accept Disney Gift cards as payment.
Mini golf also accepts them as payment.

Bike rental at resorts = I would assume yes, since it can be charged back to your resort room bill. Myabe someelse knows better.

There was a coffee/tea cart on the walkway on the way to Everest in Animal Kingdom that was cash-only. They did not take dining plan either.

i am no expert but my rule of thumb is, if it is not connected to a building it takes only cash.
