Can I do this @ Rock N'Roller Coaster?

Another thing to tell him is the actual ride is only 90 seconds start to finish.

Thanks Guys!

I let DH read all of your replies and he said that he will seriously consider it. I'm sure I'll be able to get him on it. :) YIPEE!!!! :)

I am absolutely terrified of roller coasters, but I do ride some in an attempt to get over the fear. Before our trip 2 weeks ago, I had read lots of RnRC posts and saw pictures of the track when it was being built and since there were any steep drops I decided I should try it (since my fear is really of those big drops). I sent my fiancé on first and he loved it and thought the launch made it the best ride ever, but thought I might not like that part. I decided I should try it anyway since I had already decided I would, so on New Year's Eve my fiancé, mom, and I went to MGM. While they went on ToT together (that one I won't ever do again) I got fastpasses for RnRC. When they got off of ToT, the line for RnRC was only about 15 minutes since it was only about 8:15am so my fiancé and I went on it while my mom held our bags. She hates going upside down and used our bags as her excuse because she didn't want anything to fall out when we went upside down. Well, after the initial take off, I loved the rest of the ride. You can't see that you're going upside down since it's so dark, you just feel a little pressure from the restraints. No drops at all, just some spirals. Well, I convinced my mom to come on with us at our fastpass time (we had gotten one for her just in case) and since she loves any sort of wild ride, she agreed since I said she wouldn't hate the inversions like on other coasters. Knowing that I was willing to go again she thought it couldn't be too bad. She held a bag partially under her restraint and I held another bag and neither one moved an inch during the inversions, so you can see they are fast and smooth. As it pulled into the exit, she asked "is that it?" since it's so short. When we got off, she thought the ride was a little rough because since you can't see where you're going next you're sorta thrown a little from side to side in the seat, since you can't anticipate the turns. The next thing she said was "I didn't go upside down on that ride". I told her it did go upside down twice but she still didn't believe it until she asked a little boy who had just ridden it too. So I would definitely recommend this as a first looping coaster since so many people don't even know it goes upside down.

RnRC is such a smooth ride, and so fast, that you are through the loops before you even realize it. Honest. And the launch, well, the launch is just so amazing, he has to try it. It's not something that can be described in words - it must be experienced. It FLOORED me the first time (and every subsequent time) I rode it, and that was after reading all about a hundred times on the DIS before our trip. It's just that unique, it takes your breath away.:D
