Can I choose Airline seats if TA booked air?

I received my paperwork for my flights (e-tickets) from WDW travel and as far as seats it says "at check in" . Does anyone know if I can take the ressie number they gave me and pick my seats online or not? tia!

If it's the airline's reservation #yes. You may be able to do it by date of travel, name, etc. Most airlines hold seats that are only assigned at checkin. I would call your airline and see if you can reserve them. It never hurts to try!!!
I know with DL if you have their confirmation # not the TA's you can change your seats yourself online at delta.com.

I would either:

1) call your TA and tell her/him that you want to select your seats. Find out when exactly the airline will be assigning seats and give TA the area where you would like to sit and the actual type of seat (window/aisle etc). Sometimes you might have to wait a # of days prior to flight. Follow up with the TA to make that call.

OR

2) call the airline yourself and find out if you can get your seat assignments now. Ask them what is protocal for seat assignment.

My DH and I LOVE the FRONT of the plane and an aisle seat. We always sit across from each other (weirdo's us) but neither of us likes the window or middle hence we always sit across the aisle ON the aisle from each other. Recently I flew JET BLUE and selected the Emergency Seats and LOVED the leg room. BUT I always am a nut-case about getting a good seat. I spent one millions years flying and having the airline ASSIGN me the LAST ROW and the MIDDLE SEAT. I am done with that....GOOD LUCK

Thanks everyone! Actually I was able to go to Deltas website and pick my seats with my confrimation number! Thank goodness I did, they had my 2 little ones sitting next to each other on one leg but me and DH in 2 totally different rows,lol. thanks again!

In the past 17 years I've flown about 50 round trips. I have never, EVER booked my own flights, ALWAYS used a TA. There were many times when I got the seating assignments myself by contacting the airline directly.

Glad you were able to do this. But why did you have to do it yourself - couldn't the TA do it? That's what they get paid for.

To be honest I felt better doing it myself, never even thought to ask her. This is a trip win, from McDonalds and WDW is the one that set it all up. Guess I just feel better knowing I can at least control this part!

I would also like to be able to get our seats before check-in at the airport as it is just myself and my daughter and would hate to get separated. Thanks for any info!

We always sit across from each other

My husband and I do this as well on planes with a 3 across seating configuration. We both like the aisle!

Mine took about 4 days, but, the people that handle mine are not the same as doing it over the phone with the people from WDW. This lady strictly books for the contest winners,that is all she does (like radio wins,big promotions etc).Booking with CRO for my room only extension took about a week to get my paperwork.
