OK, My sis is flying Airtran on the return home flight and wants to know if she can check-in and get boarding passes at resort if she does not use the DME? And can she have luggage tags put on her bags so she would only have to then drop them at the security place? I will have a rental car and want to take her and kids to airport, plus she doesn't want to have to check her bags until time to go. How long does it take to drive to MCO from CBR? About 30 min? My flight is about 2 hours after theirs, so I am debating going back to hotel, shopping somewhere close, or just hanging out at airport with them until their flight leaves. Anyone know if Airtran and Southwest are in the same part of the building (ie, could we go through security together or are they different sections?) OK, sorry, that turned into a lot more questions than I planned!! :rolleyes1

Yes to the first question (you can check in and not use DME). No to the second question (you cannot get your luggage tagged and then take it to the airport yourself).

Not sure about the terminals. With a two hour difference, I (personally) would not likely go back to WDW.

Thanks!! I just double checked and her plane leaves at 130pm and mine doesn't leave until 440pm! I think I may try to talk her into using DME to get to airport, then I could relax at hotel most of day!! Or go ride EE at AK! :goodvibes 3 hours in airport is a long time!

Anyone staying at Disney Resort can check their bags at the RAC counter at the resort. It doesn't make a difference weather she is using DME or not.

She will need to be finished checking her bags no less than 3 hours before her flight.
