Can DVC guests use other pools

While they might be gated, my experience is that most are broken and you don’t need a MB to gain access. My experience VGF, Poly, BWV, SSR, OKW no band needed. BLT yes, BCV I think you need a special band, non MB.

RIV required it at both pools. Last time I was at Poly and BWV it was needed as well.

But, regardless, pool hopping is suspended and therefore using the pools is not allowed currently

I have a questionable question. I am an aulani member living in LA. I go to disneyland all the time, and would be nice to dip in the pool at Grand Cal here and there. Obviously I don't have unlimited points, so Im asking if the front desk would check if Im actually staying on points, or If I could just sneak into the pool from time to time. I already feel like a bad guy for asking.....just saying. Anyone have experience with this pre shutdown? I know hopping is suspended as of right now. thank you

Pool hopping was only permitted if you were staying at a DVC resort at WDW or Vero Beach on your membership.
