Can an urban family ADDICTED to driving go w/o a rental car (on-site 7 days)

We have a car reserved already. We're going to be in Florida for 8 days and 7 nights. It is only costing us $420.00 for the 8 days. Only 6 of those days will actually be at WDW. So we would need a car anyway, but my wife wanted one in case she gets tired and wants to go back to the room with DS2. That way me and DD10 can ride the bus back if we wanted to go back early.

What kind of a car are you renting and/or when are you going? That's a lot of $ for a car! We rented a mini-van for 2 weeks in early December and paid $292 inc fees for the whole time. That was from Dollar, an onsite company. Could have gotten something less expensive from an offsite company.

If I could have found it cheaper believe me, I would have. We're going through Enterprise. A 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. We want an SUV, not just a full size. That's why it's so high. But it still doesnt take away from our spending money. We should still have a ton of money each left over.
