Need some help and Advice! Disney Family wanting to go to Universal

do they offer luggage transfer between hotels like Disney does? If I stay one night at Royal pacific I would get 2 EP for Universal and IA, then I could get one night at the cheaper hotel for the epic day ?

I'm not sure - I found this thread from last year but it seems inconclusive? (Edited: See CAPSLOCK's post above - you might be in luck!)

Do Universal transfer luggage like at WDW??
We are thinking of spending most of our time at Dockside but want the perks of the unlimited EP for a couple of days so will stay at Royal Pacific for a night or two either at the start or end of our trip.
We don't have a car so wondering about luggage transfer?

Everyone above has offered great advice. I often do Disney and stay on property and then move to one of the premiere hotels with express pass (Royal Pacific, Portofino Bay, or Hard Rock) for a few nights. Then, you can have early entry AND express passes. I also am splurging this year on express/vip tour of epic. And, yes, get the park-to-park. Especially if Harry Potter is important so you can ride Hogwarts Express between parks.

I will warn you this... my son loves Universal MUCH MORE than Disney and has since he was about 6. Be prepared for that for the future.
