So when is a normal "first" snowfall for you, how long into the spring does it last and what are "normal" temperatures in the winter-say Dec, Jan, Feb? How warm does it get in the summer months?
Freya, I just opened the link to the home exchange site. Is that your home? It's lovely! That sounds like a very interesting way to travel.
Cute!! My kids have never made a snowman either, well unless you count the one they made that was about 4 inches tall...LOL Mom didn't have much snow that year so they could only make a snowbaby.![]()
Temps in Dec-Feb. are:
Average low: 28 F
Average high: 36 F
Summer months:
Average low:48 F
Average high: 58 F
You are warmer than I expected in the winter but way cooler than I expected in the summer.
What can you grow in Iceland? I know that fishing is huge. I love Icelandic Haddock. It is the only kind of Haddock I will eat.
