Calypso Cay / Summer Bay Resorts

Does anyone know something about the Calypso Cay resort? I thought I was booked at Summer Bay, but the travel agent called me today to say it was sold out, and they were transferring me to Calypso Cay. From the internet, it looks like it is a resort under construction. The agent told me Calypso was actually nicer than Summer Bay, but since it was their mistake, they wouldn't charge me any more. We should have a 2BR 2bath villa. Can anyone offer any information? Can I believe the agent, that I am getting a much better deal?

I haven't stayed there but did go and look at the apartments there in the past. Calypso Cay is a nice area. There complex is being built in phases. You will most likely be staying in the area already completed next to the hotels.

I do not know if the townhouses look like the apartments, but if they do, they will be nice. Wish I had more information for you.

Thanks for responding. It gives me some comfort to hear your remarks. Do you know anything about their amenities? I know they have miniature golf, but I was told the pools are small. I'm taking two 13 year olds, so they'll want activities. Also, was the construction near the villas, or far enough away that we won't be bothered?
