Calling the day of to check in early

I took the advice and called MS and asked about a 2BR lockoff. We were booked for a dedicated 2BR. However the lady I spoke with was extremely nice and looked to see if any lockoff 2BR's were available for the dates we were coming in. She advised that there were none available. She did note in our reservation that we were transferring on Sunday. So I believe I will have to head down to HH Sunday morning to transfer to a 2BR. I really dont know what time I should get there. Does early mean 6:00 a.m. or more like 8:00 a.m.?

I'd call Sat evening (or go to the desk in person). Explain your situation about changing rooms and how you'd appreciate any consideration to minimize your being "homeless" on Sunday. Ask them if there might be any 2BR villas vacant Sat night that you could possible move to if you checked-in early on Sunday. (Ask what time you'd need to be at the desk to have the best chance to get that vacant room.) If there are none available- you won't likely get anything earlier than 11am - since the villa will have to be cleared by housekeeping and 9am is about the earliest they'll have a chance to begin cleaning.

Just let the desk know of your situation and allow them to try to find a way to create some "magic" for you. It's not always possible, but they do try their hardest.

Thanks Doc, I certainly will give that a shot. Have you ever heard of them holding a certain villa. Saying for instance I go down Saturday night and they inform me that there is a two bedroom available and we would like to take it for Sunday. If I state yes we will take that villa tomorrow, will they hold it? Have you ever heard of them doing that?

We will be getting into Orlando at 9am on Saturday, April 23rd. We were planning on going shopping first, but would it make more sense to check in to WLV at that time? Will they assign us a room at, say, 10:30am?

I knew nothing about this new system. I thought they pre-assigned.
