Calling for Resvations

Ok is anyone else frustrated and angry with the way reservations are taken now.

First you have to go thru the automated questions, they then may put you on hold for a lengthy amout of time. Then you have to answer more questions before they will even look for availabilty. Not to mention that they cannot seem to get our address right and we have to correct them in every call.

We have been so many times since 1971 pretty much always staying on property. But the cost just to call and make a resvs is getting too much and they waste so much time before they will even look for availability.

I know they have made changes in the process but is anyone else frustrated with CRO.

By the way I only call the 1-800-828-0228 number now. Let them pay for the long distance call.
 
Is this 800# for anyone, or just for DVC, or certain employer groups? I'd like to use and 800# also....

Call on the weekends or in the morning. I've called a few times regarding my upcoming trip and have never been put on hold. If you call on a workday afternoon I'd suspect you're calling at the same time as everyone else that likes to make plans once they've finished thier work for the day. That's just my opinion.

It would be nice if one of these sites would go beyond statistically figuring our the best times to go and figure out for certain the best time to call. Not just for ressies but PS's and PV's. I had to figure out so much of this on my own.
