Calling all KITTY lovers! **ANOTHER kitty** pg3

I go tomorrow morning to pick up my new kitty! I don't have it yet, because I have to choose between 2. A long haired female or a short haired male.

I need a name. He/she will be black. I am looking for a name that is original, my one cat is named after Orion, the constellation. I would like to have a name that is mystical/magical/heavenly... you get the idea. Any ideas?

I have thought of Zeus or Phoenix.

If you get the boy, he could be "Oberon" (king of the fairies from Shakespeare's Midsummer Nights' Dream), or if you get the girl, she could be Titania (usually pronounced "tih-tahn-yuh"), the queen of the fairies from the same play.

Don't temp me, my cats are already going to ignore me for a month for bringing home ONE, I can just IMAGINE if I brought home 2, and really, I can't afford 2, because I can only budget ONE spay/neuter fee, not 2. But BELIEVE ME, I want them ALL!

If you like those, Bast Or Bastet is the female (I believe) messenger goddess of egyptian myth. Shes a cat I think.

I have a black cat named J. Cricket. The Cricket is because he's black the J is because we love Disney. We also have a black and white named Figaro, but we call him Ro.

Sorry, couldn't resist, my DS and BIL will give your friend a run for his money on the best name contest...they named their 2nd cat TOC (pronounced tock, like tick tock), short for "The Other Cat"

we rehomed a cat not long after returning from Florida - the kids of course wanted a disney name, but I wanted a name that you wouldn't feel stupid calling and because he is also black - we called him MAGIC (as in Black Magic - but his full name is really!!! ORLANDO MAGIC which the vet thinks is a hoot!!!)

IT's A GIRL!!! Named her Xena! I will post pics soon as I can get some, she been pretty much cleaning herself since she got some.
