I can't believe that I am still not all caught up. But I've got to head to bed so I'll finish up with my catching up tomorrow after work. And then I've got to stay caught up! :teeth:

See you all tomorrow!

Good morning everyone and TGIF!!!!! :cool1:

Everything at the doctor went really well yesterday - I don't have cancer!!!! :cheer2: I have a condition that needs to be checked often, so I have to go back in February to have another Pap done. Until then I was told to leave and destress because stress is probably what triggered this.

Both of Sandy's girls are adorable! I've seen pics of them together and they are both so cute!!
Thanks!!!!! :goodvibes
This reminds me that I have to post pictures from Katie's b-day party princess:
We got the rain from Ernesto Friday into Saturday morning but it wasn't too bad. Actually the storms that came through Wednesday and Thursday were worse than Ernesto!
I'm glad to hear that Ernesto didn't affect you guys - I was wondering. We've had alot of rain lately too, but not as much as you. I think the most we've had at once is 5".

To everyone else - Hi there!!! :wave2:

Well, I gotta run - have a good day today everyone!!!

slo - my thoughts are with you today!

One of Jim's friends & fellow firefighters died this weekend. He was doing a side job cutting down a tree and accidently cut his safety line. He spent several days in coma before they did two EEGs to confirm no brain activity. They turned off all the machines on Sunday. He was 45 and had a 10 year old son & four year old daughter. JIm is handling it OK, they haven't worked at the same station for a few years, but have always remained friends.

How terrible! :sad2: I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers!!

WHEW! I'm finally all caught up on here! Now to just stay up-to-date on everything!

LBelle - I see your ticker is down to 5 days!! WOW!! :cool1: How long are you going for?? What about the boys and school??

Good Saturday morning everyone!!! :surfweb:

Yes I'm up super early on a Saturday  . Stephanie has a 9:30am soccer game this morning. It's suppossed to rain, so hopefully we'll get the game in before any of that rain starts.

She's a little nervous about her game today because she's playing with older kids this year. With these kids (especially the boys) being older, they are alot bigger than her. I hope one of these boys don't accidentally kick her across the field - she's so tiny next to them  .

Well, I best be on my way - have a good day today everyone!!

Thanks Kathy :goodvibes I'll try, but it's not easy  . It always seems like as soon as you want to destress, something comes up that causes stress. I never feel like I am stressed out, in fact, I feel like I handle stress really well. But...I guess how you deal with stress in your mind is not the same as how your body handles it, which is out of your control. I need to start relaxing more.

I'll try to get Katie's pictures posted sometime next week :thumbsup2

Good luck to Stephanie with her game today! I'm sure she'll do great. She did so well last season!!!! Tell her not to be intimidated by the size of the other kids. Matthew is VERY small for his age (he weighs 70 pounds and his best friend who is the same age plays football and weighs 130!!). Because it's the small kids who are always underestimated by the other team and can take off running. Matthew does!!

Matthew was supposed to have soccer practice this morning at 9:30 but the coach called last night and cancelled it. We're having a soccer picnic this evening at 6 (so all the team and parents can get to know each other before the games start) and the coach said that he realized that it was asking a lot of the parents to bring the kids to practice for an hour and a half and then back for a picnic this evening. I appreciated that because the field that they had practice scheduled for is about half an hour from here.

Of course it's not easy to destress...you're a mom!!! :lmao: Mom's are always handling stress without even realizing it. And maybe stress isn't the right word...maybe they should tell you to de-"stuff"! You've got to get rid of the extra "stuff" going on. You can't do a hundred and fifty things as once...you'll have to lower that to a hundred! :teeth: Just take care of yourself.

I am looking forward to seeing those pics!!

She had a good game today :thumbsup2 She didn't make any goals, but she held her own, and showed all those big kids that even though she's small, she's mighty :teeth:

I hope you have fun at your picnic tonight :) Our soccer league doesn't do anything like that. It would be nice if they did. It would be a good way to meet other parents.

Isn't that the truth!!!!!

Instead of sitting around watching a little tv tonight I'm vaccumming the house. For some reason I just can't not do something - I am an extreme multi-tasker!!!

After vacation I"m going to start relaxing in front of the tv again at 9pm. I enjoyed doing that last tv season. :teeth:

We got a little after effect of Ernesto...nothing major, just grey, rainy and windy for a few days. Sure hope nothing comes around while we're at Disney this coming week!!! :guilty: Last Sept. the weather there was glorious, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

I remember that with Jesse last year...he was in an indoor winter league and for the first time they made it co-ed AND age ranges from 14 to 18!!!!! The differences between the kids was insane!!!!!!! :sad2:

How did Stephanie do? Hope it wasn't rained out!!
