Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't posted for a while! Trying to get back into regular routine after our trip. We had a wonderful trip, the best vacation ever! Lots and lots of pixie dust!

I'm working on a trip report and will give you all the link to it when it's finally done.

Well I am off to work! You think if you work at an office you won't do weekends, nights & holidays! Not my office! We see patienst 365 days a year as late as midnight if needed! Ugh!! So Hi ho! Hi ho! It's off to work I go!! (no diamonds, though! Just sick kids!!)

Holy Cow - we had alot of thunderstorms last night!!!!

Kevin and I were watching a movie last night and Stephanie was watching a movie in her playroom when she comes and asks me if we are getting storms tonight. I told her I don't think so and 10 minutes later - BOOM!!! big, loud thunder!! After the storms, there are very little leaves left on the trees in the forest next to my house - to bad, they were all very pretty fall colors Now it really looks like winter is coming!!

I really appreciate you sending those postcards to the girls - they were thrilled with them. Stephanie has a Princess postcard that I bought her on vacation and she wrote a note to Cinderella on it and asked me if I could send it to her - I told her I would You really made their days!!! I'm glad to see that you are home safe and sound and that you all had a great trip - I can hardly wait to read your trip report!!! I know someone that was at The World the same time as you and said that being there during the storm was not that bad - would you agree? I've only fled hurricanes, never stayed during a hurricane

slo - I hope ya'll are all OK! The news this morning was talking about tornados in Indiana! I am thinking of you and your family!
I hope we will here from you soon!

our office is open all day every day! we will see patients as late as midnigt 7 days a week. Luckily I work with an efficient MD! We saw 70 patients yesterday, but I was home by 8:30 pm. Tonite will be much later because Monday's are always bad!

You are so sweet - thank you for thinking of us Luckily, those tornadoes were not by us, but we did have huge thunderstorms that night. We are suppossed to get another round of severe storms tonight and we have a tornado watch out until 1am. I'm just hoping the storms aren't to big that they wake up the kids because I don't want Stephanie to be exhausted at school tomorrow because she has lack of sleep. I guess we'll soon find out

I had a sick computer for a couple of days and that's why I didn't post. I hate having my computer down - I feel like a part of me is amputated when I can't Dis with my Dis friends

Luckily, Kevin knows some smart computer people at his work that was able to make my sick computer well again Now I can Dis without any problems

I just love Fridays- especially when I don't have to go to work I'm off today because Stephanie has a 1/2 day and I have a parent/teacher conference with her teacher this afternoon. Since I'm home, I also scheduled some custom drapery makers to come to my house and give me an estimate on how much drapes will be for the dining room and living room. I have a feeling I'm going to do this

when I hear the price.

The drapery guy is going to call me Monday with a quote. He said that it shouldn't be $1000 a window because I'm not getting treatments that require alot of material. I asked him if I could do one at a time if the price scared me and he said that should be no problem - I'll have to let you know Monday or Tuesday (depending on when I talk to him) what he said.

I better run - I hear BabyKate in the baby monitor asking to come out of her crib - Talk to you later and have a good Saturday!!

I went to my first Dis Meet yesterday and it was alot of fun!! I met Dan Murphy and his wife Marie for the first time and they were very nice people.

Not doing to much today - just hanging around the house and getting caught up with laundry and housecleaning.

Good Monday morning

I'm starting my Monday off with a cold - what a drag!!! But....I would rather have it start now, than later in the week, because we are taking the girls to downtown Chicago Saturday and spending the night - Mickey Mouse is in town Disney characters come and light "The Magnificient Mile" (Michigan Avenue) every year and there is a big parade and fireworks - it great!!! I'll have to take some pictures and share them with you.
