Hello Everyone!!!!

So......how is everyone? I am so glad that the weekend is here. I'm going to be packing all weekend and since the weather is going to be sunny and hot , I can also lay out in the pool while BabyKate is taking her afternoon nap . Then on Sunday, our town is having their "hometown celebration" and they'll have fireworks in the evening. It's going to be a nice stay at home weekend!!!

polly p - so good to see you!!!! - we've missed you around here!! Happy Anniversary to you and your DH . How many years have you been married? I hope you day today was really special!!

eeyoresmountainpals - Hi! How are the kids doing? Stephanie is still loving school and she is so excited about vacation - it's fun to watch her just beam with excitement

I called my employees yesterday afternoon and they said that no boxes were delivered. I will look for it tomorrow and let you know if it comes or not. I sure hope the USPS didn't lose it

The USPS did take their sweet old time getting it to me - but that's okay, I'm just glad I got it.

Is this hurricane Ophelia going to affect you at all?

Unless we get some of the outer bands of rain I think (hope?) we should be fine through Ophelia. We are in the northwest corner of NC (only about 10 miles from TN and 20 from VA) so we're pretty far off the coast.

I'm glad you are not in harms way . Keep us posted on what is happening in your state.

My vacation has officially started!!! I don't have to go to work tomorrow and we are leaving on Thursday - Hooray!!!!

Hi and good to see you!!! Thank you for the happy vacation wishes - I'm pretty excited. The only bummer is, mild illness is plaguing us right before we go.

I'm going to the doctor in an hour because I think I have a UTI and I have my eye infection back.

BabyKate has a bad cold and she is going to the doctor this afternoon.

It just wouldn't be a normal vacation if one of us didn't have something wrong with us when we are gone

For me: I do have a Urinary Tract Infection , so the doctor gave me an anitbiotic. I have antibiotic eye drops from my last 2 eye infections that I'm using and the doctor said that this oral antibiotic will help with the eye infection also. The only bummer is, you get sunburned so much easier when taking an antibiotic - so I guess I better pack more sunscreen.

For the girls: They both got a clean bill of health . The tubes in their ears are clear, no redness in the throat, and no congestion in the chest . Granted BabyKate still has her bad cold, but at least I know her ears are clear (we've had alot of ear problems in my house with both girls). The pediatrician told me to pack my ear drops just in case, which I already did, and she also gave me eye drops for the girls in case they get my eye infection.

I basically spent my whole afternoon waiting in doctors offices today. I was going to clean my house real well, and that didn't happen. My mom told me that she will come clean while I'm gone so we can come home to a nice clean house - she's the best!!!!

Well I gotta run and pay some bills online and then go to bed. Talk to you later!!

Hi girls
I miss all of you. I don't see me getting online very often until the snow flies. DD has a cheer competition on sunday. DS is in football practice almost every day. he is going to miss his first game next week though. He is going to Canada with the boy scouts for the brotherhood. And DD7 has a soccer game tomorrow.

I can't complain yet. It will get worse in about 2 weeks. But they are all good kids and their grades are very good.

DH just got notice he's getting moved to the truck. he's happy.

Me, I just can't wait until April when we go on our first disney cruise.

How is everyone. I hope you all are well and healthy.
