What beautiful weather we are having!!! :sunny:
We intend on being outside all day today :thumbsup2

Thanks to all that gave well wishes for the store.
There are so many people that don't even know that the plaza I'm in exists, that I need to change that. Once people know about me, I'll do a lot better :thumbsup2

Bunchkin - I've never had Boston Creme Pie at LTT either, but we didn't start going there until 2005. We are making an ADR for there this year, and I can hardly wait - it's one my favorites!!!! :goodvibes

HERSEY - I'm picking up sticks and stuff today too ::yes:: We have a very messy tree that sheds it's very skinny sticks all year - I hate it:mad: !!!! The only reason why we keep it, is because it soaks up excess water in the play area, and if we chopped it down, we fear about having standing water (it's a lower area of the yard).

geffric - Good luck today at the Eagle Ceremony!! :wizard:

paint - Thanks for the movie review!!! Maybe I'll take the girls to see it :)

DG - Less than 2 weeks!!! How exciting!!! :cool1: :cool1:

Crissup - I was like this  when I read your post about Bakers Square. I love their pies, and I hope they don't close the one by us.

ID - I'm glad your DD had a great time at the zoo, and that your other DD did great getting her ears pierced. I'm glad you took her to Merle Norman - I've heard from others that they do a good job :)

Mac - :wave2:

I best get going and start my day
Have a good day everyone!!

Hello! I am in a cleaning mode today. I have already cleaned carpets, windows. So now I'm taking a break waiting for the bacon to finish cooking so we can have breakfast and back to the few other things before moving outside.

I'm making myself tired just typing this. I may have to swing by Bakers square and do my part today.

The fun fair was a good time. It didn't seem to busy though :confused3 it was a nice night too.

Happy Sunday!!

We really need to stop procrastinating every year when it comes to getting our taxes ready for the accountant!! :rolleyes1
It's bad when our guy calls us to ask if we're dropping the stuff off or what!!
Should have done it yesterday but cleaning and having company over for dinner got in the way!

DH is determined to get every speck of winter off the car, inside and out.
My car matts are shot! Not nice, since we just bought the car in Sept. :headache:

slo LTT is great on MNSSHP night!!! Try to see if you can get a ressie for that night! They dress up! Try for 4:00pm ish, but you have to call right away when your ADR window opens up!
We did this and it was Lauren's b-day too! Her actual b-day!! And MNSSH night too!!! So much fun!!! :goodvibes

irish dancer Just the mention of their French Silk pie gives me a stomach ache!! Too much chololate for me!! :upsidedow
Where at the zoo did they sleep? Sounds fun!

Hersey BACON!!! :goodvibes

geffric & mac Thanks for the info on the lines at US/IOA. :thumbsup2
We've got a lot of time to plan since we won't be going there till after HP Wizarding World is open!! :cool1:

I don't want Bakers Square to close! Dewain and I love to go there and split a Hot Fudge Brownie Ale Mode. Wonder where we can go instead??

afternoon chicagoland homies.

had your back this morning.
went to church and all of you are covered for the week.......

nice outside but when i set in the yard i sink.
it is either too wet or i am too fat.

i think a little of both.

today i clean.
and i mean it.:laundy:

Good Sunday afternoon all!
Haven't been here in a few days.
Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather finally!

Matthew has just finished practicing his clarinet outside (I wanted him to practice outside b/c it's so nice out). He has a band concert coming up on Thursday.

I didn't get to mention, but Chrissy and Matthew just celebrated their 11th birthday this past Friday! :cool1: I can't believe they are 11 already! Time sure flies! It is scary that they are almost teens! Yikes! :scared:

I see I missed some other birthdays and celebrations here.

Tiggerrn- Happy Birthday, Kellie! :cake: :bday:

Crissup- Happy belated birthday to you! party:

Piglet too- Happy birthday to your DS! :bday: :cake:

Geffric- Congrats on Geoff(is it Geoff or Eric?) with the Eagle Ceremony and party!! I'm sure you and your DH are so proud of him! :yay: :thumbsup2

Slo- I'm sorry I missed what you had going at your store :guilty:
Did you have an open house at your store recently? Hope all went well!

Hi to all

Crissup- I didn't know Baker's Square filed for bankrupcy :sad1:
Now I know why the one by me closed back in September :sad2:
Wish it was open to buy holiday pies for Thanksgiving/ Christmas
My family and I did go to a BS(Baker's Square) right after church a couple of weeks back, one that was a little farther away. That one was pretty empty for dinnertime. We basically went b/c the kids wanted a slice of BS pie so bad. I'm wondering if they are going to revamp the restaurants and just sell pie? That would be my thinking

Ok all, have a good rest of the day! :)

Wow, what a weekend. Finally the weather we've been wishing for....:sunny: Lots of outside time this weekend. DH was happy to get back on his motorcycle :moped:

mac - thanks as always for the show line-ups. Excited about the new Smantha Brown series. Wish we got Fine Living Network...

Bunchkin - for the zoo overnight they slept in the Discovery Center. I know what you mean about the French Silk, I can only do a small slice but oohh how I love that creamy chocolate mmmmmmm.

Hershey - bacon - yumm! We had pancakes here and the kids were asking if we had bacon to go along with it, lol.

Well, looks like we're going to get one more nice day before the rain comes in on Tues. Sox fans will be happy for the opener. Night everyone.

We were outside all day yesterday - it was great!!!! :sunny:
The girls weren't happy that there were some chores to do before playing (picking up sticks, and picking up rocks out of the grass), but I told them I'm not asking them to do anything that I didn't have to do as a kid. That didn't make them feel better :sad2: But they got over it as soon as they were done, and were able to do whatever they wanted:yay: :yay:

My daylillies are popping out from between the rocks, and I moved the rocks away from my hostas, and they are starting to show signs of life - that alone makes me feel like winter is officially over!!!! Oh, and our Cardinals are back:woohoo: and that definitly says SPRING!!!!! :flower:

HERSEY - I cleaned windows yesterday too ::yes:: It was nice to be able to stand outside and not freeze while doing it :) I didn't clean carpets though - that definitly needs to be done soon though!!!!

Bunchkin - I agree that LTT is great on MNSSHP night ::yes:: We did this 2 years ago, and our ADR was at 4pm, which was right when they opened for dinner :thumbsup2 Our characters weren't dressed up though:sad2: They were in there normal LTT outfits - what kind of costumes did they wear when you were there?
*We put our bacon in the oven yesterday, and it was great:thumbsup2
Thanks for telling me this the other day :)

piglet - I never had that at Bakers Square, and it sounds really yummy!!!:goodvibes

Mac - I had sinking areas in my yard too ::yes::
*Thanks for the listings!!!! :)

ID - We had pancakes for breakfast yesterday too ::yes:: Luckily, we had some bacon defrosted so we were able to have that too :thumbsup2 I do love pancakes w/ bacon!!!! :goodvibes

Rose -
HAPPY
BELATED
BIRTHDAY
CHRISSY
AND
MATTHEW!!!!
:cake: I hope you had a wonderful birthday last week!!!!

Well, it's bedsheets changing day - so I need to get started with things.
Have a good day today everyone!!!

Ugh. Monday. That's all I have to say about that.
Went to Gurnee but it was uneventful. I rode with my mom and sisters, so they were rushing me to get back. I was full on cardio shopping. I was sweating! I ending up getting a few things but I was really rushed. Then, for my ride home, I got a delicacy I am unable to get down here- White Castle!
Piglet- to you, your mom, and your whole family
bunchkin- I wish I thought things were too rich or chocolately for me. Those words will neevr come out of my mouth!
hersey- Come on over to clean here. I am just trying to keep my house from becoming major disaster while I finish the semster.
Better make sure the kids are actually getting ready for school and not sucked into Sponge Bob.
Enjoy the weather!

Sunny morning! :sunny:

Taking a break from my friend, the vacuum! :rolleyes1

Yesterday there were so many people outside in our subdivision taking walks, riding bikes and what not. I was over at my neighbor's in the driveway talking and we must have said hi or waved to at least 2 dozen people!!!!

mac Thanks for the listings!

slo Glad the bacon turned out good!!! Can you believe how easy that is? NO MESS!!! :goodvibes
At LTT the characters had on Halloween type masks around their eyes and some wore costumes. I'll have to look at my pics and get back to you with the specifics.

paint My whole family thinks I'm the oddball because I'm not big on chocolate. :)
White Castles!!! :goodvibes

rose Happy birthday to the twins!!!! :cake:

irish dancer I didn't even think of the Discovery Center! That must have been fun!

Hi gang! I;ve been MIA for a couple of days but hope to jump back in today. Wasn't the weekend fabulous? Oh...yea...DS had his first baseball game on Thursday but it was rained out after 2 innings. Then on Saturday they won 20 to 9. Go team!

I am only working 3 days this week. DS is out of school 1/2 day on Wed and then on Thurs and Friday. What to do? Maybe the zoo or maybe MSI or???
He needs a dental appt since all 6th graders have to have one now. He wasn't quite due to go back but the form has to be back to school by May 9.
Enjoy the sunny day today!
Lori

Nathan is all signed up for his first year of tackle football. :scared: We need to get Lauren signed up for soccer soon. I kinda wish she had wanted to be in cheerleading. As a "mascot" she would have cheered for Nathan, thus avoiding have to be in two places at once. But, I think soccer will be much better for her. Plus, they play at the park across the street from us, so we will never have to drive there. :thumbsup2

Good almost afternoon everyone! :flower3: this weekend was absolutely gorgeous! didn't quite get everything done i needed to but that's ok... i'm not overly worried about it! had a bbq for my sister's bday! it was fun! i actually cooked!! made some potatoes in the oven with garlic and pepper, made some peas, and prepared the chicken with seasoning (my dad wouldn't let me near his precious grill:laughing:) i also baked the cake! My other sister brought over bread pudding, which was delicious! Over all it was a great success! My oldest sister, there are 3 of us, me being the youngest) looked over my itinerary. She suggested we take a break one afternoon and do something recreational like ping pong or swimming. I looked into it and found the mini golf. Has anybody done this? any reccommendations? well, busy day today at work so I should get some things done before lunch! hope everyone has a great day!:flower3:

Hi everyone again! I am doing the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer on May 31st, and just got an email saying I still haven't reached my fundraising goal.:sad1: I've been trying really hard asking everyone I know but still haven't reached the required amount to be able to walk. We (me, my sister and a couple friends) are walking in memory of a friends mom who passed away in January after a long hard fight with cancer. If anyone would like to make a contribution or knows anyone who would like to make a donation, please PM me and I will give you my info. or the link to my Avon Walk website where you can contribute. Breast Cancer is a big disease and still affects far too many people. :sad1: Every penny helps!! Thanks!

Ugh. Monday. That's all I have to say about that.

hersey- Come on over to clean here. I am just trying to keep my house from becoming major disaster while I finish the semster.
Better make sure the kids are actually getting ready for school and not sucked into Sponge Bob.
Enjoy the weather!
Sorry I didn't get to the outside stuff. By the end of yesterday my back was killing me.
Sunny morning! :sunny:

Taking a break from my friend, the vacuum! :rolleyes1

paint My whole family thinks I'm the oddball because I'm not big on chocolate. :)
White Castles!!! :goodvibes

You speak of White Castles and chocolate in the same sentence  :faint:

What happened out there today. It was so cold.

.

You speak of White Castles and chocolate in the same sentence  :faint:

The referrence to chocolate was in a seperate sentence from White Castles!! :)
That's just totally gross that you thought of that and put it together!! UCK!!
