Morning everyone! If I have to peel another apple I'm going to peel my eyes out! hahahah!
Has anyone been to the Jelly Bean factory tour up in Wi? I believe it's the Jelly Belly factory? We're planning on doing that this weekend, but I am just wondering if anyone has done it and what they thought?
We just did the Jelly Belly factory tour a couple weeks ago. Just found it by accident when we were on our way up to explore Wisconsin. It was kinda fun...but basically, it is just a big warehouse. You get on a "train" that goes around the perimeter of the inside of the warehouse. They have various stops where they have video of various steps of the process or samples of the equipment used in making and packaging the Jelly Bellys. You don't really see any of it live.
In fact, I kind of left with the impression that they don't even make them there...it's just a warehouse. But I could be wrong on that. I just never saw a place where Jelly Bellys were actually being made.
They do, however, give you some free samples. And of course there is the store where the tour ends (in true Disney World fashion). You could really go wild in there. Talk about your sugar buzz.
Wow it's thundering and lightening out still raining pretty hard to. I was going to grill ohwell.
COol thanks for that
Yup, it is just the warehouse and distribution center. The factory where they are made is in San Francisco I believe.
My son loves trains and we go to train museums all the time, so we figured since this one is on a little train and they can see other things that go on in a warehouse (my husband is a warehouse manager) then it could be a fun little outing for them
We try and do new things all the time and i'm glad to hear about your experience! Gotta love a tour that ends with a store!
We just read that the new longaberger (however you spell that) outlet has also taken up space inside the Jelly Belly warehouse too! So now there is a little something for mommy too! hahaah!
Yeah...we've been more adventurous since moving out here. Just in the past two months we've made seperate trips to Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan. Trying to explore our new surrondings. It's been fun. Gotta start preparing the kids for an eventual road trip to Florida...someday
haha! I know what you mean! We like taking the kids to more places than just grandpas house on the weekends
We spent July in Mexico, did a weekend in the Dells and we're heading to Door County next month, Frankenmuth for Thanksgiving and then driving to Disney for the New YearThe drive was a lot of fun last time!
We're trying to convince ourselves to take a trip up to the Mall of America to check out the new Nickelodean park.

But that doesn't sound half as cool as Mexico. I'm jealous... How did the kids like it?
that place is a 9 minute drive from my house.
when i get bored or yen for jelly bellys, i go there, take the tour and get the samples.
it's not a bad place to see. it is quite nice to visit.
