Slo I'm happy you found a good person to help you out. Also glad Sophie is doing better. Hershey a couple of years ago got some unknown illness I was worried but he snapped out of it. The vets never did figure it out. The stool and blood tests all came back normal He does like to eat flys and cicadas though too

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

I need to get showered and ready I'm having a garage sale with my neighbor this weekend. Crazy I know, I need to set up a pickup this week for the leftover crap I mean wonderful collectables

I normally go on Saturday night, but I had a customer walk in the door 15 minutes before closing, so I couldn't go. That's okay - we'll go this morning

I'm looking forward to being outside all day.
There's so much to do, and this is a great day to do it in

Yep, was a great day off, followed by a great DVC member's cruise, followed by a great WDW vacation at the BWV. We did MNSSHP for the first time. Excellent!! Well worth the additional price. Much better than the xmas party. Be sure and dress up!

Okay, who's going to WDW next? I need a favor!

Unfortunately, I just got back an hour ago and am just now reading this. However, have you tried WDW merchandising?

Hi ya Tigg!!

We're on our way to WDW in 7 days. We'll be staying at BWV for 8 days and 7 nights. While we are there, we'll be doing F&W Festival, Lunch with an Imagineer, MNSSHP and parasailing at the Contemporary.

Just got home from the BWV. Did F&W and MNSSHP. Both were fun. Wouldn't make a special trip back for F&W, but wouldn't miss it if it was going on while we were there.

Hope everyone had a great weekend, but I have to say, I am not liking the turn of the temps!! Took the dog for a walk last evening in shorts/t-shirt, today needed pants and a jacket.
Welcome home Crissup. Hope you will have some pictures to share. I have a TR going with a lot of pictures. I finally was brave enough to try it out. Not a lot of followers though.
Slo, did you get your yard work done this weekend? Congrats on your new hire. I sent you a PM about lunch this week if you are able.
Hersey, did you make enough money at your garage sale to support a WDW trip? You had a great weather weekend for a garage sale, though.
Bunchkin, what were you up to this weekend? You always find something fun to do over the weekend.
Well, better get some dinner made. We had a very big brunch after church today, so it's just grilled cheese for dinner tonight. Waiting for Desperate Housewives to start tonight. Kids are watching Disney Channel right now, so guess I'm missing out on Extreme Makeover. Oh well, I'll catch it on the internet later.

Slo Yesterdays garage sale started out very slow. We found out the church very close to us had the memorial service for that young man who was killed in the National Guards. He was from Carol Stream.

Today was slow also probably because it was cool and looked like rain most of the day. Anyway I think I'm going to make a call to Salvation Army and get a pickup and clean out my house that way from now on much easier and less time sitting around

greetings.. been a busy time... fall always is though..

Friday Geoff left for an OA comclave thing at great lakes, eric had a football pasta party anf then over to some friends. Saturday as beautiful and hot.. Eric had a 11 am game and then varsity had a 1:30.. so DH and I didn't get out of there until 4ish.. and were too tired from all that fresh air and sun to do much else..

It was strange too.. both Schaumburg and Fremd have their fields torn up so the game was held at Conant in hoffman..But it was a schaumburg "home" game...

today i had work to do, went to SAMs and Jewel and did laundry..

BLT selling well thus far. We toured the models open now at SSR and they are beautiful.

Was going to unpack here, but Desperate Housewives is premiering tonite, and I cannot miss it, LOL!

been a busy weekend for me.
whew.....

sandy, that is great you have a new employee.
i know it will go great for you.
she will be a pro when it comes to the holiday buying time.

i just checked the weather by the accuweather site.
the last 5 days of my trip will not have the best weather.

one of the lights it lists 60 as a low.
a few other nights 62 is projected.

i have never had cool weather in early october before.
i hope the predictions are not correct.
it is never etched in stone about what weather will be like 15 days out.

crossing my fingers it will still be nice to be out in the evening.
once i am out of my hotel room, i don't go back to it until it is time to sleep.

i hadn't planned to take "cold" weather clothes.....


i won't be on much after tomorrow.
will be busy organizing things and will be staying off the computer.

i have to as i could end up reading, posting, viewing things and a couple of minutes turn into 4 hours...

so, i wish everyone well while i will be gone.
i will miss you all

I spent yesterday pulling out flowers and fighting off swarms and swarms of mosquitoes. If I don't get West Nile Virus, it will be a miracle!!! I'm just glad that I have the yard 1/2 ready for winter

Tigggggggggggggggggggern - I got most of my work done I still have to cut down all my hostas and daylilies (I'm not looking forward to the mosquitoe attack when I do that ), and cover up all the patio furniture. After that, I'm done!!!!!

geffric - Sounds like you had a busy weekend. Did Eric and his team win the games?

Crissup - Welcome home!!!!! The halloween party is alot of fun!!! Did you dress up? I"m not, but I will wear the t-shirt I bought in 2006

Not exactly. But, I did find the Capt. Jack Sparrow dreadlocks and bandana on clearance sale for $6, so I bought that and wore it. Chip and Dale loved it when they spotted me in the Liberty Tree Tavern. The character costumes were fun also. I had also purchased one of those glowing, chomping skull lights and was wearing it around my neck.

Mac - when do you leave? Wish I could go too. October is my favorite - not too hot and not to cool. Weather is never acurrate 15 days out.. so i'll keep my fingers crossed for you..

yesterday, i pulled weeds, cleaned, cooked laundry and worked.. Geoff did homework and mowed the lawn once he got back from the OA weekend. Eric spend most of the day with his girlfriend. I need to order the flowers for her but her mom is sick and eric said she may not go to homecoming this weekend..I hope she can make it for both of them.

Today geoff is going for an interview for an intern job with dan Seals..hope it goes well and they accept him..

Good Morning Everyone! busy weekend for me, as saturday was opening night! it went very well, everything was beautiful and the food was delicious! yesterday i didn't do too much b/c i was crazy tired! i did however make it to the mall to get a couple new pairs of pants for work. New York and Company was having an awesome sale

Morning guys! Just a quick drive by this morning. My To Do list for this week is huge. Lots to get done before we leave for WDW on Sat. Packed my box of liquids and gels to ship ahead so we can travel with carry-ons only. Have to print my inteneraries, clean the house and pack!!

My little Stephanie is now, officially, a server at church
She went to server training last night, and she can start this Saturday She will get a set schedule, but because so many kids don't fulfill their duties, there's always a vacancy up on the alter - so she can start this weekend. I'm so proud of her!!!!!

geffric - Have you ever been to WDW at the very end of October? If so, what is the weather like? I've never been at this time, so I'm not sure what to expect.

DG - I need to go buy some new items too. I'm glad you were able to catch a good sale!!

We have to leave early because I have to go pay my respects at a viewing, before a funeral, for a retired fire chief that past away. Kevin didn't go to work this morning, so he could participate in the funeral. They have the firetrucks all done with the black bunting, and are putting the casket on the firetruck to the cemetary. I wish I could go to the funeral, but that starts when I have to open the store.
