We have two wonderful cats, Beatrice and Rosalind. They're sisters from the same litter and a little over 7 years old. Both are in good health, incredibly friendly, very affectionate, and playful. The playful part has become a problem with Beatrice...
Beatrice has discovered a new trick in the last couple months - she now loves to unroll the toilet paper roll - sometimes into the toilet if DH has left the lid up! She has now unrolled over a dozen rolls of toilet paper - and often shreds them, too. Once she unrolled a full roll into the toilet, and believe me, that was unpleasant to clean up. We have tried stuffing empty toilet paper tubes into the middle of the new roll so it won't spin, but that hasn't worked either. Both kitties have all their claws, and Bea loves shredding the toilet paper on the roll if she can't spin it. (DH says she's "fluffing" up the TP for my bottom...
)
When I catch her doing it, I spray her with a water bottle (she hates getting wet, so that works), but she often does it when we're asleep or not home or somewhere else in the house.
Any suggestions for getting her to stop? Anyone else have a cat who does this?
