Hazel is lucky you did her clothes for her.

Actually, I think I got the easy part done, they still have to be put away, but with Hazel and Angelina still sleeping, I'm not about to go in either room and take the chance of waking them up. I'll let Hazel put them away when she gets up, I have to go get the lawn cut before it gets any hotter out there. Luckily, we have an electric lawn mower, it doesn't make too much noise!!!

Moira....maybe I should move to Ireland? I can't function without AC.

Elaine I know what you mean about not letting the DH do laundry. We can't afford for him to it. It is time for me to teach my DS though. And this is waht I get to do today.

My DH and DS are off sailing for the weekend. Too hot for me. Some how things got confused for this summer. I told my DH we were going on a boat for our vacation this year, NOT buy a boat. So now we own a sailboat. :confused3 We bought it about 3 weeks ago. It has been his dream to own a boat. He grew up with sailboats, so I guess you could say it is in his blood. And our DS loves anything to do with water and fishing, so I know we will get our money's worth out of it. Looking forward to sailing in the cooler weather though. But first we get to cruise on a really, really big boat.

Back to cleaning and maybe go to the pool.

Stay cool everyone.

:dancer: Yippeeeee!!!! :Pinkbounc My passport was just delivered to my door by my friendly neighborhood postal special delivery. :yay: So the pic is terrible, but it is in my hot little hands.

Elaine

Andy................. you are an amazing man. Get some rest too. You are going to be very busy in a couple of weeks.

When Hazel worked full time, out of the home, I would always do the laundry and all the cooking. I was home from work by 4pm and Hazel didn't get home until around 6pm, so I would have dinner ready when she arrived. Back in those days, we didn't have a PC, so I wasn't tempted to be online like I am now, LOL!!! :rotfl:

The only thing I didn't do back then, unless Hazel was really sick, was the dishes. I didn't mind putting them away, I just didn't like washing them. :sad2:

Elaine, we'll be doing the same dance when Angelina's passport arrives!!! We don't want to run into any problems like we did at the DCL Terminal this past May.

Hazel and I renewed our passports last year. We were trying to hold off getting Angelina a passport until she was 16, but we decided to go ahead and get her one before this cruise.

Hey Peeps, we're nearly up to 8800 posts!!!!! ;)

Hi Andy,

I originally applied for my passport on July 5, and then two Mondays ago, I got a letter from them stating that there was not sufficient id attached. So I called and was informed that the Postal Svc did not attach a copy of my driver's license. So I did that and called yesterday. They said it would be sent on Monday, but arrived today. Phew! what a relief that is.

See you soon. Hazy, Hot and Humid here in Syracuse. Cannot wait for the vacation.

Good afternoon all

I was just reading the posts and noticed that many of you have gotten passports for this cruise. We dont have passports and didn't think we needed them. Sure we appreciate your input on this one.

Bob: You don't need passports for this cruise. If you re-book for another cruise you will need them. I bring mine as I don't like to bring my birth certificate with me.

Here is a link that should provide more information about passports.

Hi Bob,
Nope, you don't passports in 2006! You will, however, need your birth certificates. ::yes::
