Congrats on the docs Jennifer!!!


We Have Air!!!!!! It only took about 30 minutes to repair the central air unit, the Capacitor went bad. The air is working and it is down to 89* already in the house. Angelina left at 3:30 for her babysitting job, the repairman arrived at 4pm and was done by 4:30. Hazel and I are off to get something to eat while the house cools down!!!!!

We got our docs, too!!

Andy: So glad to hear your AC is up and running again. We lost power last week for 26 hours -- nobody around here knew what to do without electricity. I wanted to take the girls to McDonalds for breakfast, but there was a 40 minute wait!! The only ones who were happy about the power loss were the restaurant and hotel owners in the neighboring towns!! LOL!

It's hot here, too, but our AC keeps cranking away -- thank goodness!

We have no docs yet so I'm on a prolonged sulk.

I've been running around taking care of the 10,000 things I need to do before we leave. At this point, we may have to hold the boat. I have to drive to Toledo on Monday to help my sister settle in after her move. Unfortunately, she's not going to be able to come home with me for my mom's 75th birthday party. Her birthday isn't actually until the 25th, but Steve and I already had plans... ...so we scheduled the party a little early.

Hi Everyone

My name is Deby and I'll be joining you on the 19th along with my DH and DD-9 and DS-4.

We actually just booked the cruise about a month ago and this will be our first Disney cruise so we are very excited to say the least! We are native Floridians so we've been to WDW many many times and we love all things Disney.

My DD-9 would love to talk with another 9 year old girl that will be on the cruise with us ahead of time so she'll have a friend to see on the ship.

Does anyone out there have a DD-9 who would like to do this?

Please let me know, or let me know if there is another way to do this.

Thanks for the info Darlene. Those do look like fun shoe/skates though. They look so cool. I am always on the lookout on trying to keep my DD (11) away from things she could injure herself. Last year, she snapped off her 2 permanent front teeth while skateboarding. After 3 trips to 2 different dentists, she got her new teeth. So what did she ask for last Chirstmas? A snowboard. And her silly parents got her one. The deal was she could only use it in the backyard. At least I know it is just snow and dirt and not things you can't see. I thought about putting her in bubble wrap, but that didn't seem like a real option. Now the deal is trying to get her to use her mouth guard while palying soccer. She is a goalkeeper. And they said girls were easier. HA!

Andy....glad your AC is working again. It is so hot here in MD. I saw it was suppose to be 100° on Wed. according to a local report. I'm not holding my breath since weather people are that acurate. Florida might seem cool compared to this. I agree with Andrew.

Time to go do the dinner thing.

I called DCL today because I was getting a little antsy myself. They told me they were sent on Wednesday UPS 3 day sooooooo I am now on the look out for my big brown truck. Doreen & Linda you should also be looking out.


Andy: Are you following my luck? What is it with the 1-5 window thing? I would love to make an appt. and say hmmm I will be there between 1-5. Remember back in the day it was a 2 hour window?

Shirley: The way I figure, the brown truck is moving up the coast. PA, NY then MD? We will get real close to 100. It's just nature's way of getting us all ready for Mexico.



Doreen: Have to ask why you couldn't wear the flip flops? I checked them out and LOVED THEM !!! They are alot of money $$$ but boy are they cute. Did they hurt your feet??

Just arrived home (it's 82* in here now) from having dinner with my bride of nearly 31 years!!! We did indeed go to Ruby Tuesday and I had a lump crab meat sandwich that was to die for, and the french fries that came with it were out of this world. It was a new Ruby Tuesday menu that they just started a few days ago according to our server.

After dinner, Hazel and I took a stroll around the mall, the last store we stopped at was The Disney Store, where I bought myself a Captain Jack Sparrow button down shirt. This is what I will be wearing for Pirate Night next month. The pirate costume I wore in May will not be making this trip

As we were eating dinner, Hazel said, "This time in three weeks we'll be eating dinner at Grills." And I for one, can't wait!!!

Andy, I'm glad they got your AC fixed! What does the Captain Jack Sparrow shirt look like? Any way you can take a picture of it and post it?? If it looks like something John would like, I'd want to go pick one up for him. But I don't want to make the trip to the mall that has the Disney Store in it, if it's not a shirt he'd like. If you can't take a picture, that's fine, and can you just describe it then? Thanks

We had a bad thunderstorm come through here this afternoon. I only have ac downstairs so up here where my office is it is hotter than....well you get the picture!

I am sitting here drinking a glass of Banfi & it is yummy! I had to celebrate getting my docs!

I would love to see the shuttle go up!!!

When I was at the Travel Agency yesterday, there was an envelope from Disney waiting for me. I was soooo excited. I ripped it open and it was documents for a trip to Disney World 8/26 that I booked for my clients.

Today when I got to the agency there was another envelope from Disney.

All i did was run down to Atlantic city to see my favorite singer, Tom Jones last night and there are so many posts to catch up on!
