Did anyone else get a card from DCL asking them to take an online survey? I did, and I just completed the survey. I'm glad I had the chance to do this because I filled out a survey onboard the ship but forgot to drop it in the box on the way out, I ended up finding it in my tote bag when I got home.

Shirley - My kids are always mentioning Ace. He was a sweetheart. Alot of the kids had met already in 2004 but he just joined right in. He'll do just fine in life I suspect! Tell him Hi from us!

Hey! We'll be in WDW in February!!! We're already booked at the Wilderness Lodge before our 4-night Wonder cruise, and at Animal Kingdom Lodge for 3 nights after the cruise. The dates are: Friday, Feb 2 - Sunday Feb 4 at the Wilderness Lodge. Then the Wonder from Feb 4 - 8. Then Animal Kingdom Lodge from Feb 8 - 11! When were you thinking of going??

Angelina is really excited about starting 11th grade. She has been driving us nuts about how many days are left until school starts......you'd think she was counting the days down until the next cruise, LOL!!!

School starts here on Thursday, let's see how excited she is come Monday!!!

School started here today on this dreary Tuesday, but hey at least I'm not missing a beach day

DDs are both in high school this year, so that makes life a little easier. Of course the bus was late this morning, so DH wound up driving the girls in.Gianna loved her first day of high school and is now napping on the couch,not used to getting up at 5:30. Nikki wants to switch her English class but lots of friends are in her lunch so all is well in teenland.

I really wish we could sail with you all in August 2008 but with Gianna playing field hockey, it doesn't look like it will happen. So at his point it will probably be April 19,2008.

Nope, haven't gotten a request to fill out a DCL survery. I think I have in the past (or am I confusing DCL with Smuggler's Notch in Vermont as they do online surveys, too).

Kids start school tomorrow. So today we got in a last round of mini golf (both kids hit a hole-in-one) then went to Staples to buy school supplies.

Now its searching the house looking for backpacks - haven't seen those things since June.

I picked up some film at the photo shop and sure enough I've got a couple of pictures of stingrays we saw while we were snorkeling.

How very sad to hear about Steve Irwin. I know there are a LOT of Aussies on the Magic/Wonder.

Good luck to Craig and Robby and Taryn and John as they start another year of school. Russell is in his Senior year at LeMoyne College and I cannot believe that we are this far in his education. I couldn't agree with you more about not pulling them from classes, especially in the beginning of the year. My son only missed when he was very ill, and almost always went and then we got the call to come and get him. So now we are the proud parents of a repeat Dean's Lister.

I hope these 100+ days fly.

Hi,

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that made our first Disney cruise so memorable. My family had such a wonderful trip. My three year old keeps saying she wants to go back on her cruise ship!!! LOL My eight year old wants to know when he can go back and order the delicious cookies from room service.

Bev- it was so nice to meet up with you and your family at MGM we ended up having to stay in Walt Disney World until Friday. Our flight was cancelled because of Ernesto.

I am sorry I didn't get to meet more disser's we will have to try again in 2008!!

We got the card for the online survey as well. I haven't done it yet though.

Well it is back to reality tomorrow for my son he is off to school, or as my neighbor says the freedom bus.

Hi Terry - We are looking at President's Week or a week in April. You know I have that every-other-week thing at work and between that and school we're severely limited during the year. Too bad though we would have definitely met up. Guess we'll have to have a DIS meet instead. Right? Doreen, up for a 5 hour drive?

Hi Denise - Are you a teacher? I can't believe Toms River goes back two whole day earlier than Old Bridge. Any idea why that is? Listen, are you and John not even considering the Cruisin' Castaways II 8/16/08 or 8/23/08 Reunion Cruise? Even considering it a teensey weensy bit? Come on put John on. I'll tell me we never even all got to go Martini, Wine, or Beer tasting together so we have to travel together again!

Alas, John's shoes have yet to arrive home. I figure DCL didn't even mail them UPS until today. And so the saga of the lost shoes and pants continue........Well at least the Johns haven't had to go commando!

Mary Rose: I totally understand about President's Week, etc. Craig and Robby aren't going on this trip so that's why we're going on an "off" week instead of a holiday week. I'm very glad to hear that your Johns have not had to go commando...it's starting to get a little cooler out!! LOL

We are season pass holders so we like to get to WDW more than once a year if possible or take a long WDW vacation to make it worth it to buy the passes.

We are looking at Easter vacation; probably between Ash Wednesday through the Friday after Easter (04/04 - 04/13)

MaryRose...Which cruise presidents week are you considering? I just priced the Wonder for that week Category 6 was $3,931 a little much for me for a 4 night cruise.

Doreen...I am not going to Orlando, We go to Orlando too often so I am taking the jewelry instead
Our rally is next week 9/16 at the Chateau Resort in the Poconos. We are making it a nice weekend getaway for the family go lia

Bev...Anymore takers on the RCCL Explorer cruise for 8/17/07 out of New Jersey?

My kids start school tomorrow, Thursday I am so sad, I like them home/camp.
