Denise...what company made up the name tags? They did a nice job.

.....I love our group picture! I wonder how many copies they sold? Thanks Chuck wherever you are...... And thanks for the open house. I hope my DD delivered the choc. bar to the right fish mail?

Thanks Terry for the countdown. It makes it more real. I'd still like to sneak in a 4 day one with those of you doing the back-back Wonder cruise next Aug. Not looking real hopeful though. We'll see.

Shirley--Chuck is wearing a black shirt and is on the left side steps, just behind Sean(aka: Mr. Clean)!!! That's how Jude described Sean to me, LOL!!!

Wow. Only 102 weeks until our cruise.

Bad news - 2 winters to go thru again. :rotfl2:

I wonder how many of us will end up doing another Disney cruise between now and then. 102 weeks is a long time to wait.

Tell me about it, especially after we just sailed 12 weeks apart this year.

Let see if this makes it any quicker

102 weeks on the wall, 102 weeks on the wall,
You take one down and pass it around. 101 weeks on the wall

He is actually getting ready for the Southern Caribbean that is leaving I believe this Thursday.

He is a nice guy, but he goes on too many Disney cruises :sad2:

OK...I am a little envious :goodvibes

Thanks all.....I just don't know if he really gets to read these boards. He was interesting to talk to. Remember Andy....I was in his suite when I got to talk to you and Hazel. :)

Ed......you crack me. BTW.......I'd still like to send you the few pictures of your parasailing trip. The one of you touching down in the water is pretty terrific.

I remember Shirley, we had a great time chatting with you and Ron in Chuck's suite!!!

Hi everyone,

I booked the MNSSHP for 9/15. I never was in Disney for it but I heard it was nice. Has anyone gone to it? Booked my hotels for 2 nights before the cruise and now I'm thinking of coming home the same day as the cruise ends. Has anyone used DCL transportation from the ship to the airport? If so, how did it work out? I always rented a car since we were staying after the cruise.

Have a great day. Soon it's back to the reality of work.

I first spoke with Chuck over the phone about a year or so ago. He is a good person who is concerned that people are well informed and not getting bad information.

The reality of this forum is that it is not an official Disney site and there aren't Disney reps responding to your questions so there is always the possibility that you are getting opinion and not necessarily fact.

Chuck is aware that the DIS Boards, for better or worse, is the most active forum for Disney Cruise Line fanatics like ourselves so he does pay attention, but doesn’t always chime in since Dreams Unlimited (who considers AST competition) is the sponsor of this site.

We've always used DCL transportation to/from the airport and have been happy with it. We fly Continental, and there is a check in counter right at the port. This time Continental even had all our boarding passes and luggage tags already printed out. We just handed them our luggage and boarded the DCL buses to Orlando.

It was almost a little scary how well it worked.

Several airlines have check in counters right at the port. Otherwise you just put your luggage on the buses.

We had the late breakfast seating on the last morning and didn't leave the ship until 9am. So there wasn't a long line to board the bus.

good morning everyone :sunny:

Well I wasn't very happy driving in to work this morning because... summer is behind us now... kids are going back to school this week (I'm one of those crazy moms who actually LIKES when her kids are off for the summer. lol)...and now we have the winter to look forward to. BLECH! LOL

However...once I got here and started chatting with Maggie and my other co-workers, I'm in a much better frame of mind. :goodvibes

I've been posting on the thread for my February 4th Wonder cruise...but so far there aren't many replies. Every once in a while a new person will post and introduce themselves, but then that's it for a while. It's strange to be going on a Disney cruise in 5 months and NOT have an active thread. lol Oh well :) I know we'll have a great time; we're cruising with friends of ours from Canada and we enjoy their company very much. She is a DISer but she doesn't post often. We plan on surprising them with door magnets and a few other surprises that I don't want to mention here :teeth:

Andy: I love the line in your signature that says "Cruising Castaways II"!!! I'd like to vote for that to be our August 16th 2008 Cruise name! But then again, maybe people who will be joining that cruise for the first time might feel left out since it refers to the cruise we were just on?? :scratchin I don't want to cause any problems or hard feelings like we did when we talked about the Lost At Sea cruise 2 years ago. Ah well.. there's plenty of time to decide about a name for our 2008 cruise :hourglass

Terry did Robby start school today? We start tommorrow.. I heard the busses this Am doing their route though. Glad your day brighted a bit when you got to work..

I too... like having the kids home for the summer. I am going to miss them here with me.. Esp since the summer we had.. What fun it turned out to be...

Continue to have a great day... and remember only 9 more months to go..until summer again...

I like the idea of CRUISIN CASTAWAYS II.. but than again I liked the LOST AT SEAS as well and the BLACK PEARLS pirate: ..lol remember that one??

What ever we pick... I will plan on being there
Doreen

I'm finally on my lunch break!!! I ordered cream of broccoli soup and a roll and butter from a local deli/lunch place that delivers. It arrived in plenty of time, before my scheduled lunch time, but when I finally got to sit down and open the container of soup I saw that it was CLAM CHOWDER which I can't stand!! So I went back to my desk and called the place and they said they'd send out the correct soup as soon as the delivery girl got back. So...Maggie was nice and told me don't worry about it, that I could do some work while I wait for my soup to arrive and then take my lunch break whenever the soup arrived. So....about 40 minutes late the soup arrives. I walk to the back of the office where our lunch room is and sit down and realize they didn't give me a spoon. No spoons in the kitchen...so I walk back towards the front of the office to the other kitchen to get a spoon. Then I go back...open the soup and see it's the correct soup... open up my roll and discover they didn't give me any butter for it! So...I just ate my soup and the bare naked roll is sitting over there by itself. lol

Doreen: Robby goes back to school tomorrow :teacher: He's at a friend's house today enjoying the last day of summer vacation :sunny: Craig and his friend are on campus today with various activities, and they start classes tomorrow. :teacher:

Good News, our roofer is coming tomorrow morning!!! We could of used him a few days ago, it poured like crazy here today, we even had streets flooded that never flooded before. I was about ready to bring the ark back out, LOL!!! :rotfl:

I'm just hoping it's a minor problem.
