Good job Ed!!!

BTW, I have a man's and a woman's pirate costume here if anyone is interested. They are both still brand new and in their packages, not sure when we might get around to using them.

Thanks Terry

This makes the start of the weekend Fun.

One week closer:cool1: :thumbsup2

My Pirate name is

Dirty Jack Kidd
You're the pirate everyone else wants to throw in the ocean -- not to get rid of you, you understand; just to get rid of the smell. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr!

I just didnt want to be at the end of page two...

MONDAY coming up.. kids going back to school. Daniel had a great time skiing this weekend.. Jaclyn is back from Virginia.. I did 3 shows this weekend.. I was very busy.. now to close them off.

Have a great week..
Doreen

Just wanted to let everyone know, the pirate pirate: costumes I have are spoken for.

 Couldn't that be a incentive to book for down to road? I am sorry Andy. Still hope we all can get together in Fla. at end of Aug. pixiedust:

Terry: I just noticed your signature. I was surprised to see that you are staying at the AKL. Are you staying concierge? When we stayed there they had the best concierge staff going. The hotel was a little dark so I took my own light bulbs and switched them out. Let me know if you have any questions. Hope all is well.

Hi All...I posted a trip report on our Costa cruise we just got back from. It is on the trip report page.

Enjoy
Joanna

My niece and her DH and their two DD's are sailing on the May 13th Eastern this year, we gave our pirate: pirate costumes to them.

With Angelina's big Sweet 16th Birthday Party in September, we decided to hold off trying to get away this year until the first week of November, since Angelina will be off from school for Jersey Week!!! It's going to be a long year, this is what I get for making four trips to Florida last year, LOL!!!

Ed: Where did you get the pirate name info? Did you just make that up, or is it from one of those name generator programs?? :teeth: Either way, it's very funny!

Tina: I don't know yet if we're going to do pirate costumes or not. I know my DSs won't, but maybe DH John and I will at least wear our "Pirates of the Caribbean" shirts we got from the gift shop at the end of the ride at Disney World, and add some costume jewelry. lol

lynr: Hi! :wave2: We're booked in a waterview room. We just bought our very first Annual Passes, so now we'll be going to WDW a few times a year, and most trips will probably not be concierge. Especially this year, we have Craig's graduation in a few months, we're buying him a laptop as a graduation gift for him to use in college, then we have the expense of college starting this fall. :faint: LOL I do want to try AKL CL some day, I keep reading that it's one of the best! :sunny: My one and only concern is not being "right there", like we were at the Polynesian. Did you find the bus transportation to be a pain? I really, really like being close to the parks, but I have a feeling that all of the great things about the AKL will overshadow the proximity issue :) I've been looking at a lot of AKL pictures the last few days and I LOVE what I've seen! The resort looks absolutely gorgeous. I already love the Wilderness Lodge, and since this resort is similar but with a different theme, I really am sure that I'm going to love this one too. :thumbsup2 Oh, and I already have ADRs for Boma! :teeth:

Andy: I am still in denial that you won't be on this cruise, I'm just going to pretend that I'll be seeing you onboard :earboy2:

Joanna: Can't wait to read your report, I hope you all had a great cruise! :boat:

Doreen: I am amazed at your business skills! You go, Girl!! :cheer2: I'm so glad that your business is successful and that you seem to be really enjoying it! Please tell everyone in your family that my family says HELLO! :wave2:

Bev, Diane, Dori, and Everyone: I hope you're all doing well!! I'm sorry that I haven't commented specifically to everyone, but I do think about all of you and can't wait to see you all on our cruise! :grouphug: I hope we can get our little thread here more active, the closer it gets to cruise time! :boat:

Terri:

The bus was the only reason I won't return to AKL it tooks us 45 mins one day to get back to the lodge from the Animal Kingdom. The buses ran very slow when we stayed there. I also felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere.

We purchased Annual Passes in December I think we will get 3 trips out of them. Well worth the purchase price.

Has Craig decided on a college yet? It seems like just yesterday that his graduation was 2 years away. Time has flown by.

Jen: Thanks for posting the pirate link. :)

My pirate name is Iron Anne Rackham. A pirate's life isn't easy; it takes a tough person. That's okay with you, though, since you a tough person. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr! pirate:

Terry: That sounds good. They do give you a bandanna to wear. It will just help me convince Chuck to dress up if I tell him others are. :rotfl2: I think it will be alot of fun and I am thinking "Photo"s.

Joanna: I didn't realize you went to Cozumel. Oh please tell us......... :worship: How does the area look? Is tendering really as bad as people are saying? How does it compare to Grand Caymen? Sorry for so many questions. Really think things are up in the air for for this cruise still for Cozumel.

Bev: Hope you had a fantastic cruise ! pixiedust: Can't wait to hear about it.

Doreen: Sorry about the storm we are getting tomorrow. Get out now. :car: Don't worry, spring is right around the corner. :rotfl2:

Was reading board from someone on the Wonder..........It has me all excited about "Other" cruises in the works. Castaway Cay surprise being delayed. :( Hope it's ready by the time we set sail. Now I know it's all on the word of someone else but it's all I've got now. :coffee:

I know this is a long way away..........can you hear my excitement in my voice? Dante is getting ready hopefully for his first Agility trial 2nd week in December. :rotfl: He starts his first class March 23rd. 9 months of training. Not bad huh? May not be able to book next years cruise now after all his classes. :rotfl2: He graduated :dog2: puppy basic class last night.

Hi Terry! Thanks for asking about me! I sometimes feel left out of it on this thread. Not because some of you are already friends because that doesn't bother me at all. I love hearing about your escapades on your previous cruise & in fact I would love to hear more so we can really start getting excited about this cruise! :cheer2:

I am just so darn busy with school & the kids & work that by the time I check in here I feel like I've missed out on what the heck everyone is doing! :scratchin

I am slowly beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel & by the time the cruise comes I will be down to my last class & getting ready to begin my student teaching. The cruise still seems so darn far away but I have a trip to DW in June & I am counting down to that. It won't be that long right? :worried:

How is everyone? I hope all is well! I am also truly looking forward to meeting everyone at the Radisson or on the cruise. Pretty soon we'll have to start planning our meet right? Or is that already planned? See I am really out of it! LOL

Andy: I am also in complete denial! Is there anyway you can take a little trip to visit your mother & stop by the Radisson?

Take care everyone & I will be checking in more often as time gets closer!
Diane

Tina...Were the pics of the Cozumel docs in my pictures? Pretty bad, but Paradise Beach is as beautiful as ever. DCL should really go back to Cozumel as the people there really need our business.
WTG Dante, Shorty will soon be joining him, as Shorty isn't the best of boys LOL

Jen: Thanks for the link! I'll have to find my own pirate name now. pirate:

lynr: That's my only concern too, but I want to try AKL at least once. If we find the bus transportation to be a real pain, we'll stick with the MK resorts, or finally try out some Epcot resorts :) I remember when AKL first opened, almost 5 years ago, and ever since seeing those first pictures and reading those first reviews, I've wanted to stay there.

Regarding Craig's college pick, we just sent in the last of the applications a couple of weeks ago, so now we're waiting to hear back. There are two colleges that are his first choices, so he's hoping to get an acceptance letter from them. They're both within a short commuting distance, so he's planning on living at home and keeping his current job. In fact, he just got a "promotion" to the customer service desk at the grocery store he works at. His supervisor really likes him and told me she'd like to see him progress through the company. I don't know about that, LOL, but they're great with working with the college students' schedules, so it'll be a good job for him to keep while he's in college.

I know what you mean about time flying! My baby will be 18 years old in a few weeks!!! :hourglass How are your boys doing? :)

Diane: I am so bad with names sometimes, but I do think of you and everyone else on our cruise, all the time :grouphug: Even before our 2004 cruise, I had gotten to know many of the DISers through our cruise meets thread, but I never got them straight in my mind until we all met in person. LOL Congrats on getting close to your student teaching!! :teacher: I have a strong respect for our teachers, a lot of the time they don't get the recognition they deserve. I've been very fortunate in that my both of my DSs have always had excellent teachers, and I've always appreciated them. Yay for your June trip to WDW!! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo We're going in May and I can't wait! As we get closer to the cruise, I've been putting more thought into excursions and other details like that. I'm still hoping that we can get a group to go on the Fury Catamaran when we go to Cozumel. I'm assuming DCL will have returned to Cozumel by August, but I guess we'll have to wait and see. So far, we don't have a DIS meet set up for the cruise. Our first DIS meet will probably be at the Radisson, on the night before. I know many of us are staying there.

Well everyone, only a few more weeks until it's officially SPRING!!! :flower: :umbrella: :daisy: :flower1: :sunny: This weekend we're heading to Boston again, this time to see Jerry Seinfeld on stage! :thumbsup2 My sister, niece, and their husbands are joining us too, so I know we'll have a lot of fun. They'll be staying until next Monday. I can't wait. :cloud9:

Joanna: Yes I did see the pictures. The pier is just awful. I am wondering if that's why DCL isn't going back to Cozumel. If it is then there is no way we are going there this August. The rest of it seems to be coming along. Dante will be very young for his first trial. 15 months. I am lucky that I can spend so much time with him training him. He is SPOILED.

Diane:  I don't mean to leave you out. I am looking forward to meeting everyone on this cruise. :goodvibes

Terry: Have a great time seeing Jerry Seinfield. Not the same but..........David Copperfield was here last month and Chuck wanted to see him really bad, just couldn't swing it with the schedule. It's hard when they are here one day and it's in the middle of the week.
