So sorry you have had such a rough time. Sending you lot's of pixie and some good vibes. :goodvibes :wizard: :goodvibes :wizard: :goodvibes :wizard:
Sent you a PM.

Doreen--sending tons and tons of pixie dust your way!!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Happy 12th Birthday to Daniel!!! :bday: :cake:

Speaking of birthdays.....I received a birthday card in the mail today from my aunt and uncle (my mom's brother). The card read on the inside, "Sorry we can't come on Saturday and give this to you in person, but Uncle Pete had to go to NY on business. Have lunch on us!" If I didn't know about the party before, I sure do now. Also, I just came back from getting a haircut by the same person that does Hazel's hair. Hazel was in the shop on Thursday getting her hair done, anyway, I told the hairdresser about the birthday card I just received, and the hairdresser said to me, "Hazel was in here yesterday and told me all about the party." The hairdresser did let something else slip out, but I'm not saying anything about that until I know for sure tomorrow afternoon, I'll just have to wait and see if that one little surprise comes about.

Boy oh boy, I hope my acting abilities come in handy tomorrow afternoon!!! :rotfl2: :rolleyes1

Andy: Have fun tomorrow.  I hope you can still act surprised. :teeth: Tina

((((Doreen)))) I am so sorry someone stole your purse. Poor Daniel, but I am impressed that he is being so cool about it. Says a lot about you! ((((Hugs))))

Andy... I hope there are more than a couple of surprises for you tomorrow!

Castoff.... Wtg some money down ont he cruise! Every little bit helps! As soon as all this birthday stuff settles down, I want to toss some bucks down on both our cruises!

We have Birthday world here too... My oldest and youngest turn 6 and 2 May 3rd and 2nd respectively. Tomorrow I have eight 6 yo girls coming for her party and I am entertaining over 35 on Sunday for the family/adult friends for both the kids birthday. My middle child is all pouty... it is everyone's birthday but hers!! I appointed her number 1 Charlie Birthday helper, and she is getting into it a bit, but was only really thrilled once I said number 1 birthday helpers get a present.

And.... to top things off... A good friend of our's... his son... only 11 years old, killed himself. So most of the family party Sunday is leaving here and heading over to the wake..... Sooo sad.... and both DH and I are filled with saddness for our friend, his other kids, and the whole family. So tragic....

Laura--how tragic, an 11 year old ending his life, his family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

My younger half-brother Tommy would have been 45 tomorrow, but he decided to end his life a couple weeks after his 44th birthday last year, leaving behind his 15 year old daughter, asking why.

(((((Andy)))))

I have a poll going on the CB.... 75% so far have known someon who killed themselves....

It is so sad.

Laura:Thanks that's what I keep saying to myself. Every bit helps. I am still keeping it a secret from Chuck that I am paying it off to surprise him. (Even though he knows about cruise) I am already thinking about re-booking on board while on this cruise. :rotfl: Very sorry to hear about your friend. That is tragic. :grouphug: They are in my thoughts & prayers.

Andy:Sorry about Tommy. :grouphug: My birthday is also tomorrow. I don't think it's something you ever get over.

Tina--incase I forget tomorrow, I'll say :bday: :cake: to you tonight!!!

We have my nephew's First Holy Communion at 10am tomorrow morning, then that "special get-together" at my brother Chuck's at 1pm, so I have a busy day ahead of me. My brother Rob's :rockband: is playing tomorrow night, so we might go listen to him. I'm 50 now, it depends if I have enough energy left by the end of the day, LOL!!! :rotfl:

Hi everyone

HAPPY 12TH BIRTHDAY, DANIEL :bday: :cake:

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY, TINA. lol

 :cheer2: :dancer: :cake: :bday:

Wishing :genie: you - may all your dreams come true.

Andy - have a great time tomorrow. Save me a piece of cake. :cake: LOL
Doreen - sorry about all your bad luck. :wizard: Hope things improve real soon.
Laura - what a shame that someone so young would kill themselves. :sad2: I haven't been feeling great lately but it's nothing compared to killing oneself. Kind of puts life/living in a proper perspective. Guess we shouldn't take things for granted and we should enjoy what we have.
Terry - thanks for the countdown. Can't wait until we hit 6 days. :hourglass
Darlene - did you do anything special for your birthday?

Hoping everyone enjoys their weekend.

Bev ::MickeyMo :grouphug:

ok guys - part of me says go ahead and book the Trails End meet thru Disney Dining but then part of me says thats over $400 that can be put on my credit card if this falls through or meals Id be stuck paying for - I mean if something happens to one of our trips (on my end too) we wouldnt be able to get in contact w/one another as we would already be at WDW!

I honestly think we need to pick 2 ppl to book 12/10 tables for Trails End. what do you think? who else wants to book a 10 table PS for 8/19? If I hear from someone I'll book the 12 table - if not then Jonathan & I are still planning on having dinner there and will book our 2 person PS

I dont want any hurt feelings and please try to understand - I wouldnt want anyone else to feel like they'd have to put down their credit card either - it seems like 2 PSs would be the best way around this - Im looking forward to meeting everyone and having a wonderful time - thank you

Barb--I agree, I think two ressies would be the best way to go with this. Since we have one group of 7 people and another group of 3 people maybe they can get one table, then the other 12 people can get a second table. Just a suggestion on my part.

Doreen: :confused3 I don't know why these horrible things keep following us around. I am so sorry to hear about your theft and injury. It is so invasive when someone goes through your things and steals from you. It makes me sick to think about it.

Your kids are great! You brought them up very well and should be very proud. Daniel and Jacklyn are very good kids and very very unselfish. Hopefully someone will find out who took the money and turn them in.

One time someone stole Matt's bike and it was the 2nd one we had stolen, so Bob got really mad and offered a $50 reward to anyone who turned in the kid that stole it. Well guess what, money talks so we got the bike back.

I am sending buckets of pixie dust your way. Tell Daniel I said have a VERY :bday: :cake: .

We miss you too Doreen!!!

Lyn

:bday: To Darlene :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
:bday: To Daniel :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
:bday: To Tina :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Andy - Hope you have a wonderful day and can pull off acting really surprised :earseek:

Doreen - I am so sorry about the money. I know the feeling when something like that happens and it is just the worst. Pixie dust :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: on its way to help you on your way.(I am really close to you so it should be there really quick)

Laura - How horrible is that! It seems that I am hearing things like that more and more often. It has me telling my kids over and over again that nothing is ever that bad. On a happier note :bday: :bday: to both kids.

My Grandmother had a stroke on Monday so I have been running back and forth to Utica(about 1 hour away) all week. We are hoping that she will recover but it will be a long haul. She is 87 but everyone in her family has lived into there upper 90's. They are pretty sure that she also has cancer somewhere but they can't find it so we just don't know what will happen.

Linda

Linda, hope your grandmother makes a full and speedy recovery :wizard:

Ok, you wanta play "I Spy"?? I see something in the sky, it is big, bright and causing shadows. :confused3 :confused3

Yes, yes, yes!! It is the :sunny: :flower: :earseek:
Welcome back Mr. Sun! :smooth: Oh how we have missed you! :cheer2:

No big plans for the weekend, other then a baby shower today and letting Bryan rest.

Oh, Tim took him to the doctors yesterday because we do not think he color is right. Doc would not take any more blood work as he does not have a temp and has not been sick to his stomach. If I would of been there he sure would of!!!! And if something is wrong with his spleen in the next couple of weeks I am going to be pirate: just a tad grumpy ;) He stayed home all day yesterday with Dad (other than his trip to the doc's) and Dad now sees how easily he gets tired.

OK, I am off, have a great weekend all.

Mary

Good Morning all !
Andy, Bev, Linda............Thank you for the Birthday wishes. Chuck is on the road and he said he will be home around 5:15 just in time to take us out to dinner. :teeth: I might just surprise him and have dinner made since he is driving for 6 hours. Kids don't want me to make dinner so we will see.

I decided to take kids to the movies. Has anyone seen Robots or Hitchiker's guide to the Galaxy? Thanks, Tina

Linda:Sorry to hear about your Grandmother. :grouphug: She will be in my thoughts. Hope she gets better real soon. :wizard: :wizard:

Mary: I would have been the same way at Doctor's . I hope Bryan is feeling better real soon. :wizard: :wizard:

:bday: :cake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TINA

Linda: Sorry to hear about your Grandmother. :grouphug: I am sending PD for a speedy recovery.

Laura: How horrible that is! It seems like the kids are getting younger that are trying to end their lives. I just saw on the news the other day that a 9 year old in PA tried to kill himself. What does that say about the problems of young ones today!! It use to be at their age their biggest problem was how to get money for Mr. Softee. A girl I work with just had someone in her church commit suicide at the age of 22. It is all so senseless.

******************************************************

On a brighter note. Matt is in DW on his senior trip. They left this morning and we be back on Tuesday night at 10:30. He just called me and said he was in line for Splash Mountain.

I bought tickets for Paul McCartney yesterday. I was able to get two floor seats that I am now selling on Ebay since Bob had a fit that I spent that much money. I bought two upper seats this morning on Ebay for $350 less than what I paid. Bob is the Paul McCartney fan so I thought he would appreciate being up close, but I guess just seeing him is all he cares about.

Have a great weekend everyone. It is a gloomy raining day here.

Lyn

P.S. I have now lost 20lbs only 50 more to go.
