Calling all 20 lb clippers!

Beastlover - Thanks for the exercise suggestions. I guess maybe I should start with a stretch before I put in the DVD. I just bought new New Balance tennies and I have my orthotics (made by podiatrist) inside, so I think it is just extra exercise that my legs are not used to. Leslie walks a lot faster than my normal 5'3" body does.

Mousie - congratulations on your b-day willpower. Sometimes it can be so hard. I had to work for my DH Friday night at the country club and I think I have finally learned that after cutting the desserts, I have to wash my hands, not lick my fingers;) .

I think we are going to Six Flags tomorrow so I plan to count that as my exercise for the day. I may not see you tomorrow, but I'll check in on Tuesday.

GOOD MORNING SOON TO BE 25 POUND CLIPPERS!!
GOOD MORNING SOON TO BE 30 POUNDS CLIPPERS!!!
(I had to include everyone in our group!!)
I hope everyone had a great week...I made it through the festivities of my bday by making my own desert-beachgirl's cheesecake-it was yummy and I did not feel like I was being deprived! My DB had a get together at his house for me, he has a pool, and I actually felt good in my tankini!
I lost a pound this week and 1 1/4". That brings me to 3 pounds from our mini goal for our 25 lb. clippie!! I have to exercise daily, and add an evening walk thru the 'hood! I am also going to go closer to "induction" phase to kick it in second wind--HEY!! Thats a Jimmy Buffett song-let's change the words--
We gotta kick it in now second wind-
we got 3 MORE POUNDS to go-----

the next words are no good, so we'll just skip it...anywho, I hope everyone else is doing great!!

I'll join in here--started WW in late Sept of 2002 at 303.6 and have lost a WW total of 52.8 and a Wish total of 22.8. I really didn't think this would work because nothing else ever has, but it has and it hasn't been too hard!! Never had any will-power before, but I can pass things up now (most of them, anyway--lol!)

The Wish board has been such support--thanks to everyone!!! Now onward and downward to 25:tongue:

WELCOME!!! I love it here!!! Are you joining in on our mini goal of 25 lb. clippie by Aug. 4th? You can do it!!!

Good luck and we'll be talking to you!!!

When I weighed in last night at the WW meeting, I was down 4 lbs!!! I couldn't believe it after 2 weeks of going nowhere!!! That puts me squarely on 25 pounds lost, so today is graduation day for me!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc Imagine my frustration when I got home last night & couldn't get on the computer to tell all of you because it was storming!!! I thought I would explode!!!

CampingCorgi--Wow! A total loss of 52.8 pounds is really something to be proud of! I like WW, too. The flexibility really works for me and keeps me on plan! I'm glad you joined us on the 20 lb thread!

I couldn't find a 25 clippie thread, so I am going to start one. I'll save all of you a seat right down front! I know all of you will be joining me there soon!

HI there - am going to add myself to the 20lbers as I can't remember when I joined WISH, so I need to go by overall weight loss.

I started (again) on the 12th of May (after a quick weekend at DW). I was at 200.8 lbs - my highest ever (and it looked bad, too - I am only 5.1 in height).

I am doing Curves 3 x a week, WATP, Tony Little Gazelle, outside walking, Windsor Pilates, and stationary bike on the other days (which ever I'm in the mood to do).

As of yesterday, I am at a 23.8lbs down....only 46.2 more to lose before my goal of 130.

Hope to be able to get the 25lb clipie next Monday!

I couldn't resist checking back in to see what was going on here and now I see that Monica has arrived!!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I just have to say Hi to a fellow vertically challenged person!!! I'm only 5' and I started at 264!!! So you would have looked tiny next to me, Monica! It sounds like you are really an exercise diva with all those different types to choose from!!! Way to go!!! I am finding out how much exercise means to a weight loss program! And I am soooo amazed at how much better I feel when I exercise!

Keep up the good work!!! You'll be on your way to the next clippie level in no time flat!
