Call from MS today about our reservations....

We got a call today about our one night ressie at AKV on Jan 20th. (we have 5 nights at BCV) They just left a number for us to call, but didn't tell us what they wanted!:confused3 Any ideas? Are they still giving calls about the construction? Darn them for calling the day before a holiday! Now I have to wait until Wednesday!
 
Were you waitlisted for anything? I know that the waitlist is supposed to be automatic, but we did get a call prior to our OKW stay about the waitlist. Or it could be the construction call.

Enjoy the new year. MS will be there on Wednesday.

This was a good call! They were having inventory issues with 1BR standard view (we are only there one night) and we were able to move into a Studio Concierge! That's what I was trying to get all along! Funny thing, the MS manager was acting like we were doing her a favor. Yea!
 

We had the same call on Boxing day (December 26th) about our reservation ay AKV checking in on Jan 20th in a 1 brd value for 1 night and then moving to a 1 bdr savanah view for 5 nights. I was told that the problem is actually they have over booked savanah view 1 bdr units as the inventory was partly mislabled back when booking first opened. They offered us to change to a 1 bdr standard view and give us back the savings in points with no penalties (we really need the points for a december trip) and also gave us 2 adult 7 day myw park hopper passes (our child is an infant) and the dining plan for the length of our stay :banana: :cool1: :banana: :cool1: :banana:.
We had alreay added the deluxe dining plan and did not want to change our dinig plans so they just let us cover the difference which is less they half of what we were going to pay and less then the standard plan. We thought this was great deal as it just lowered our overall cost and we can easliy go with out the savanh view this time and always get it next time. They sure made it out though that we were doing them a great favor and the DVC rep stated that she was going to contact us at the resort the night of our check in to make sure everything was fine.

All I can say is thank you DVC you let me buy my new TV.:banana:
