Hi Everyone -
I am so excited...I just booked our first family trip to BWV. My DH bought into Boardwalk before we had met so this will be my first trip "Home" since all our previous DVC points trips had been using the concierge collection to places we could easily drive to since we met/planned our wedding/started our family, ect...
Anyway, I have a couple of questions I hope you can all help with. We booked a 2 bedroom Boardwalk View for our Sept trip. It will be myself, DH, DD who will be almost 3 and DS who will be 16 months at the time of my trip. Originally I was thinking that a 2 bedroom would be good with the kids so they could have their own room for naps and at bedtime, while DH and I could still use the kitchen/main area without disturbing them. Well, I have just figured out that a 2 bedroom is actually a 1 bedroom with a studio room attached. Should I now be concerned? Is there anyway of permantly locking the door to the outside hall so my 2 yr old can't just wander out the hall in the middle of the night. How about the adjoining door, could she close and lock herself in the room? Also, does the door to the balcony have any kind of child proof locks. She is just learning how to open doors, so can you tell I am nervous...
Also, I am hoping for a view of Illuminations from our balcony. Is there anything I should ask for to better our chances of this?
OK...one last question... Should I be worried about the noise from the boardwalk keeping the children awake?
TIA for all your recomendations!!!!
