BWV Arrival Question

Refresh my memory...is there somewhere near the entrance to BWV to park for a few minutes while someone runs in to check-into the resort?

We're arriving around noon and anticipating that our room will not be ready. If it should happen that our room is actually ready, we'll valet park and let them take our luggage up to the room so we can get settled. Otherwise I'd like to be able to just jump back into the car (with the waiting family) and head out again.

Can we do that, or do I need to head for the self-park lot to pull this off?

There are a few spaces that bell staff allow guest to park in while checking in. It is just past the porte corche, along the circular curb.

The times we have arrived, those few parking spaces always seem to be full. What we do: instead of pulling all the way up to the entrance where the valet is, we just pull up but stay back a little ways. This way other cars can get around us. DH stays in the car, and I run inside to check in.

Have a great trip, BWV is our favorite.

May I thank everyone else for the replies also - we will be doing the same thing - arriving around noon and will just check-in - we have reservations for the 2:30 horsebackriding - hope it won't be too hot - but dd 12 is dying to do this and it is always too hot in the summer.

Will let hubby stay in car and I will run in.

I always just ask one of the valet parkers where I can park for a few minutes while I run in, they always have someplace to leave the car.
