BWV 1 bedroom? :) Hi all! I just booked a one bedroom at BWV for the 2nd week in Jan. Never having stayed here, I was wondering if I should request a specific room? Any advice on where the best rooms are located? Is there a lot of noise from the boardwalk below? How far of a walk is it to Epcot, and the bustop for the Magic Kingdom? Any feedback at all regarding this resort would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Elisabeth

Our request after non-smoking is close to the elevators. It can be a hike at the end of the day of after a few at JellyRolls. ;)

Epcot is about a 10 minute (for us) walk from the lobby. The bus stop is about 2 minutes. We had a room last October that overlooked the pool and never heard a peep.

Do you have a preferred or standard view room booked? Preferred view most people want a boardwalk view, the view from these rooms is beautiful especially at night with the lights shining off the water and the friendship boats pulling in, watching the people stroll the boardwalk or first thing in the morning watching the resort come awake while you have coffee on you balcon. Standard view I always request a room by the tennis courts. It is a bit of a walk from the lobby but it is very nice with a view of the boats going to MGM and you can see the TOT and hear and see the parts of Fantasmic. Standard view rooms closer to the elevators have good views of the higher Illuminations fireworks.
None of the BWV rooms are noisy once you close the balcony doors, you do not hear a thing, even with the balcony doors open it is not noisy it is just pleasants sounds of music, people strolling the boards, the boats pulling in etc and all noise basically ceases by 10-11 PM. BWV is a fantastic resort, you will love it! Enjoy!
