Thanks for the welcome
I ran on the Lakefront Path on Saturday. It was ~50 degrees outside! I had 6 miles on the schedule but ended up doing 10 since it was so nice out. Since it was the first weekend day above freezing, the path was packed! I think all the runners in the city came out of hibernation this weekend and took advantage of the fantastic weather. Here are a few pics:
There is something so inspiring about getting closer to the downtown skyline with each step.
The snow is melting but it's not quite summertime here yet.
The snow is melting but there are lots of puddles... I stepped in a large one with 3 miles to go and had to finish my run with soaking wet shoes and socks. Ended up with a few blisters but it was worth it to not have to run indoors.
I was also one of the many DVC people calling to reserve a villa at Bay Lake Tower today! I am going around Halloween so it looks like I'll be able to run the Tower of Terror race this year also!
