Buzz Lightyear

Can anyone tell me if there is a Buzz Lightyear that walks around and if so, where the best place to find him is? I'll be in Disney the first week of December and its DS's first trip. Buzz is his absolute favorite character.

The last few trips we have only seen him at MGM by Al's Toy Barn.
That is back past Muppets and Pizza Planet.
He and Woody are there.
It is an organized que line situation with a good photo opportunity.

MANY years ago he was in Pizza Planet, but it was chaotic.

We have never seen him WALKING around.

We have called ahead and asked where to find a particular character and they were pretty helpful.

Last week, we saw Buzz signing autographs near the Mad Tea Party ride in MK. This was an organized que line also. It seemed an odd place to find him, since the other characters in the area were Alice In Wonderland characters (White rabbit & Tweedledee & Tweedledum), so I don't know if he appears there regularly.

My son (2 yrs old) likes to "push his buttons".

We found him without too much problem at:

DMGM -- Al's Toy Barn
MK - North End of Cosmic Ray's (NOT by his Ride).

Always ask a helpful CM and get in line ~10 mins before he'll appear. In our experience, characters come out promptly at the top and bottom of the hour and it's great to be ready for them before-hand, do a nice quick visit and then go. (vs waiting in line as the queue builds . . ).

This past Summer I saw him both at MGM at Al's Toy Barn (near the exit to MuppetVision) and also in Tomorrowland near where Timekeeper use to be (across from where Alien Encounter use to be).
