Does anyone know if you have to pay sales tax when you purchase the parkhopper passes at the Disney Store? The brochure they have says the price does not include FL state sales tax. If you are not in FL and purchase tix does the sales tax get added to the purchse?
Thanks!

No matter where you buy your passes everyone pays the 6% (I think 6% ) FL sales tax.

Hope that this helps. :)

The FL sales tax is 6%, and you do have to pay it no matter where you buy the tickets. When I called my local Disney Store here in KY they gave me the price quote and said it included the 6% FL sales tax.

Minor point of information: the Florida sales tax on WDW tickets went up to 6.5% on January 1, 2003.

Just purchased a 4 day PH for DH for his bday at TDS and paid 6.5% Florida Sales Tax on it. Beats paying the 8% NY State tax!

I bought from the DStore in Texas, and yes, they do add the sales tax for Florida..it isstill cheaper then buying at the gate. CD
