Buying extra points

Can I use current year points borrow points and still buy up to 24 points or is buying the points an alternative to having to borrow points. Thanks

Current year, banked, borrowed and 24 bought (OTU) per contract, usable at the 7 month booking window (the only time One time use points can be bought/used).

You can buy OTU points even if you do not want to borrow points. All of your current use year points must be used or committed to a reservation before MS will sell them to you, though.

As Sur posted, they can only be used for a reservation made within the 7 month window.
