We are not going to Disney until December 2004. I would like to buy Annual Passes.

I want to buy the AP's now, before my Disney Club expires. I would be buying two Adult APs and 3 Child APs. I am very nervous that Disney will change their AP policy by 2004. For instance, they annouce in Jan. of 2004, APs must be used within a certain time period of purchase.

If such a rule _does_ come up, would my APs be "Grandfathered"?

What is the EARLIEST you have ever purchased your AP?

TIA,
Hentob

Disney never changes anything that has already been sold. That's why you can use your old park tickets today without paying any additional increase in the price that may have been put in effect after you bought it.

The terms of your ticket that are in effect at purchase will continue to apply. Any changes that they make will only effect purchases from that point forward. Example in recent history is the change Disney made in 2000 regarding their renewal AP's. You used to be able to renew an AP and get a voucher to exchange for your renewal just as you can still do for a new AP. In 2000, Disney said all renewals would now start the day your old pass expired regardless of when you turn in your voucher. This effected all subsequent renewals but not the renewal vouchers that were previously sold.

Go ahead and buy your AP's for your trip. You won't have any problem with them.
