I certainly do; the OP can use minimal cash outlay to join DVC (perhaps renting additional points through member-to-member transfer for that big once a year trip, thus maintaining control of her reservations) and keep maintenance costs very low. As funds permit she can add on in any amount she wishes and bank/borrow rather than going in the hole for a 160-point contract right off the bat. The small contracts will stay very saleable in the future (much more so than 160 points).
